My wife and I have visited Flanagans often over the past 18 months and we have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and very efficient, it has atmosphere, and it is all reasonably priced. On maybe our second or third visit, we said we would over time try everything on the menu, but we have not yet achieved that because we have discovered several favourites to which we return. Today's delights were spring rolls / deep fried brie, vegetable stir fry with prawns / chicken supreme, trio of ice cream / Christmas pudding - all superb. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful service, brilliant food and great people who can't do enough for you. An Award winning, family run place that is a must to visit even if you're only passing through.

Have eaten here on a number of occasions, food is excellent, staff are friendly and it has a great atmosphere, steak is a speciality and they carry an extensive menu and not overpriced.

Have been here a few times. We usually book as it can be busy but you don't need to book. It is a cosy pub restaurant with friendly staff. We had steak ( cooked as requested with the usual trimmings), salmon and prawn dish ( salmon lovely, prawns - 4 of them- were like rubber), kids pasta (fine, small portion but it was free). The chips are those huge chunky ones. Would have preferred smaller ones or to have the chunky ones cooked a bit more. The kids eat free deal on Saturdays seems to draw people in. They have a choice of dishes on the kids menu that they get for free. I noticed one woman there with 3 kids. She seemed to pay for her own meal and get all 3 childrens meals for free - incuding dessert - which I thought was very cheeky. Would return again - the food is ok, it's good value and a nice place with friendly staff.
