We arrived with our UK friends who enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately Ken Helm was not on show on the day so missed out on the knowledgable information and personal touch of a tour with Ken. Wines remain the same, reputable and reliable.

Ken is the ideal host and made our day with fun, humour and of course knowledge of the Helm wines as well as the local area. The old school setting is a treat and brought back memories when I first came to Australia. My favourite wines were the Riesling Classic dry 2017 $38, Riesling half dry 2018 $30 and Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 $40. If you are in the region it is a must to visit this winery.

We visited Ken at Helm for the second time. We had previously visited at Easter this year. Helm doesn’t have a bad wine! His rieslings are incredible and the price is a steal. Our favourites are the premium and the Orange sourced grapes.

We had a real surprise with Helm’s Cabernet - they’ve done a brilliant job, this is a perfectly balanced wine.

The old school house as a cellar door is really special and a great tribute the local history of the area.

My wife and I visited Helm in July 2018. We had the small Cellar Door to ourselves and the owner, Ken ensured our 45 minutes was full of fine wine tasting, interesting local history lesson and good discussion. we had never met Ken before our visit but left feeling like old friends. We had a lovely time in this old school building come Cellar Door.
BTW we purchased a box of Riesling and it was fantastic as the centrepiece wine at a family party. Thank you Ken we will return.
