My wife and I stayed here for two nights. This place is totally amazing. As residents of Mombasa, it was not too far for us to reach but once we got there, we felt as if we were out of this world.

Garry and Jill were the perfect hosts. Top notch food and numerous fine wines to wash it down with.

We just relaxed on our first day and took in the ambience of the place. On our second day, we went for a guided bush walk to Chitsanze Falls with Garry. He is very knowledgeable with the surrounding area and very informative on the wildlife there. We were lucky enough to see a Martial eagle perched up on a tree scouting for food. Upon our return to Kutazam, we were served a truly wonderful breakfast. After this we, wanted to crash out but the infinity pool was too tempting. Dinner was delicious and so very filling. We were treated to the resident bush babies who come there daily and munch on the sliced bananas left out for them. After dinner, we sat in our private jacuzzi gazing up at the stars.

The perfect getaway to forget all of life's troubles for a few days.

We will most definitely return in the near future without a doubt.

For the past 20 years we are residing in Diani Beach /Kenya; it is a cosy beutiful and relaxing resort on the kenyan coast. After the end of the year bash we needed to visit an even more relaxing place. We just drove some 15 km and here the most welcoming place with stunning views on the Mwalugange elephant sanctuary. The small lodge is boosting good taste in all its features; building structure, staff service, food quality. If really someone needs a full immertion in a peacefull and romantic ambience .... this is the place to be!!!!! Heartly thanks to Jill and Garry for their tastefull touch. Luciano & Hade

I have stayed in many places in kenya and this one was the best so far and i doubt something can top it. Although the weather was not so nice and i was in a bad shape when i arrived the staff made my heart shine from the beginning. I felt truly welcome. The food was superb, it was not only delicious it was also arranged wonderful. i felt like visiting friends with a hang for perfection. the architecture is amazing, it's like a dream made real and you can feel the work and ideas behind it and all the details are amazing. there are many more wonderful things like the view, the bushbabies, nature in general, the knowledge of the owners about it, their hospitality, the peaceful atmosphere, the many interesting books and much more.

i hate it when i hear in the background the boss shouting at the staff. here it was the opposite, after i had lunch i heard how the owner thanked the team for the good work. that alone is worth a lot for me.

Perfect family-run small unique resort! Wonderful owners Garry and Jill made our stay as comfortable and unforgettable as possible! We were surrounded by attention and hospitality. We lived in well designed colonial style villa, with wonderful view. Great respect to the cook, nice waiters and to all staff in general. This place with authentic African spirit is really must to be visited!

Kutazama is a little slice of paradise. 2 luxury villas perched on the side of a cliff with every thought given to your every need. Gourmet food, superb discreet service, fantastic views unparallled anywhere in Kenya, bushbabies, jacuzzis and a smile..... We will be returning as soon as possible to Jill and Garys welcoming smiles and stories.Dont come here if you want music , TVs or entertainment- the bushbabies and views of elephants are what you'll get instead. Oh yes and the infintity pool... You'll feel as if you've stepped out of life for a moment.

Our stay at Kutazama was lovely and unequaled. The Lodge is beautiful with a spectacular view, the two infinity pools overlooking the elephants sanctuary behind you are unforgettable.it is very clean, spacious and airy as well as very comfortable. It is in a most private spot with an excellent service, excellent resturant and service. The grounds are lovely with several areas set up for relaxing, reading or simply enjoying the spectacular view. Gary and Gill were extremely accomodating in answering any and all our questions, and telling us stories of own amazing experiences! We would highly recommend this wonderful Lodge to all our friends!
