We absolutely loved our stay at the coco palm! We went for our honeymoon and the hotel gave us a free bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. The pool was fantastic, rooms very clean, bar excellent - service and drinks, food very very good, with a good mix of excellent local dishes and choice for fussy eaters. Entertainment was the right balance - I'm not a fan of holiday entertainment but theirs was spot on. Great BBQ, steel drum band, and another band with a female lead singer who did a fantastic version of runaround sue! Close to the gros islet street party on Friday night - we got a taxi there and back, and not far from Marigot bay. Right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants of rodney bay - which also has one of the best beaches i've been too! Try Spinnakers the beach bar for cocktails and dinner as the sun goes down.
Thanks to everyone at coco palm for all you did to make our holiday great!

Our trip to the Coco Palm in St. Lucia was amazing from check-in through check-out. The property was clean and bright, the pool was large and accessible at all hours of day (with complimentary towel service), and the staff was beyond compare.

From the front desk, to the concierge, to the restaurant staff, to the bartenders, to the cleaning people, to the grounds keepers - all were so genuinely smiley, polite and helpful with any needs we may have had. The service was impeccable!

It was a 5 minute walk from the property in one direction to a lovely beach and in the other direction to shops and a variety of restaurants.

Lastly, the all inclusive option for our family of four (with a variety of food interests) was a great value for the money allowing us to do more tours and family activities!

If you are lucky enough to venture to St. Lucia, this is the only place you should consider staying. We loved it and were very sad to leave, but cannot wait to return!

From the time we arrived we have been made to feel welcome and part of the Coco Palm experience. The rooms were very clean and maintained to a very high standard with all the mod cons you would expect. Free wifi was an added bonus. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and both the food and drink were of a high standard. We loved the a la carte menu at both restaurants which gave you lots of choice and good portion sizes. We spend many relaxing days around the pool, but for those who want to venture out both Rodney bay and Reduit beach are on your door step. All staff we met were extremely friendly and courteous. We like to experience different all-inclusives around the world, but this is definitely a hotel we would return to. Thank you Coco Palm hotel & staff for making us feel part of the family!

Coco Palm is a gem of a hotel for St. Lucia. There are hotels on this island that you’ll need a second mortgage, and others so decrepit you wouldn’t put your mother-in-law there, but there’s not a lot in between. Coco Palm fits that gap perfectly. For spring break, we paid about $230/night for an all-inclusive, which was about what the few similar hotels wanted for the room only, maybe with breakfast. I though all-inclusive was a good deal over the rate with breakfast only. A mall with a grocery store is a couple of blocks away if you need anything.

The rooms are perfectly comfortable, and the website has accurate photos (minus a bit of wear and tear). We had a garden view room. There was no street noise at all. The pool was large for a hotel this size. There are two restaurants on-site. Ordering off a menu was nice for all-inclusive – I’ve been to other where the sit-down restaurants are hard to reserve and buffets can get old & cold. Breakfast is buffet though, and a couple of other meals during the week, like Sunday brunch.

The beach is a short walk – there’s pretty good snorkeling right off the shoreline at the left end as you face the sea. Wi-Fi is good – antennas are around the outside of the hotel, so if you’re in your room, reception is best by the window.

The best may be the people working there though. We took some excursions and people staying at other hotels were not very thrilled with their choice from what they relayed. Many felt almost required to tip for the most minor of service or get no service at all. We never had that experience, and many were truly helpful. Peppy at the concierge was always interested in helping you plan. Cyril at the restaurant and Shorty at the bar were both great for service and friendliness. And I’ll never forget Diana in reservations who saved my trip from disaster when I almost booked the wrong dates. But no one had a bad attitude here.

A few minor things could be better. There’s a bit of wear and tear that could be fixed – chipped paint here and there, bathroom lighting could be better, that sort of thing. The breakfast buffet could use a boost – more tropical fruit would be nice, for example. And the dinner menu was heavy with BBQ sauces of different flavors – we actually preferred the lunch menu that had more variety. Good seafood. I’d also probably skip items with surcharges if all inclusive – not really worth the additional funds in my opinion. But those are trivial items compared to the overall great experience we had.

Room Tip: Garden views are likely quieter, as the pool faces the restaurant and town (loud Friday nights more than others, mimicking the local town's party night)

Thank you for posting such a fantastic review! We are encouraged by guests such as you who have taken the time to share such a detailed review. You have certainly been very fair all around and we appreciate your kind sentiments.

Most of all we are delighted you enjoyed your visit and choice of hotels. You are correct, there are a lot of varieties of hotels on the island at a wide range of prices. We are happy to hear you were happy with your choice and that Diana saved the day. Our team are our strength and all are a reflection on our Coco standards of service. We note your points and will share with all our team members and departments.

Our All Inclusive is certainly offered at a very attractive price and exceptional value for money. We will forward your feedback to our F&B team. We can confirm we have booked the painter for the building and addressing some other points as we take on our refurbishing which is on going.

We hope others will find your review helpful.

Warm wishes,
Coco Management

This is a great place to say in St. Lucia if you are on a budget. Traveled with a group of 6 (3 couples). 4 of us stayed in the patio pool view rooms which were a better location than the swim up rooms. Upgrade, it's worth it - call the hotel directly for this. 1 couple stayed in the older building and had trouble (no safe, loud noise at night). The patio pool views were closer to the bar and restaurant during the day plus had a nice table and chairs outside. We kept the sliding glass doors open when we sat by the pool - very cool. Rooms were always clean. Bring shampoo/conditioner - hotel offers the kind you get in a gym shower. WIFI worked perfectly in and our of the room. The resort is on the quiet calmer side for our liking but we made it work. Nearby bars and restaurants were loud at night so I recommend staying on the newer/main part of the hotel (stay away from the Creole building unless you like being up until 2am each night).

Had the all inclusive package which they should call "mostly inclusive". Breakfast was buffet style every morning with a made to order omelet station. Lunch had many choices for snacks. The restaurant provided a menu for dinner and you got to choose from the all inclusive choices.. steak, lobster, ribs or shrimp were an extra charge. You were allowed 1 appetizer, 1 entree with 1 side (veggie or potato, not both) and a dessert. There is no where in the resort to get a late night snack or mid day snack if you didn't want to sit down and have waitress service which I often like during the day. Food was deliciious but always having to sit down for food would be my only complaint. House wine included chardonnay, pinot grigio and cabernet. Eating outside the resort was expensive but we knew that going in and being from New York it was not any more than what we were used to.

The beach was a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you cut through. Spinnakers restaurant was right on the beach. Great place to have a quick bite to eat and drink.

We decided not to rent a car and I'm glad we didn't. We used Real St. Lucia Tours. Janus Gyan, the owner was fantastic. I reached out inquiring about a ride and he responded immediately. Request Veno for your driver! He was waiting at the airport and provided the best tour of the island on the way to Coco Palm. He stopped at a store for us as well as several places along the route for us to take pictures. This company was the best rate on the island already plus we received a tour on top of things which made it worth while - I highly recommend. Resort is approx 1 hour and 15 minutes if you don't stop.

We stayed for 5 nights and left the resort twice, each time getting to see the more popular hotels on the island. We hired a driver to take us to see the West side of the island ($60 per couple for the entire day). Saw the live volcano along with the hot pools/mud bath - Ate in Soufriere with our driver at a local restaurant and got to hang out at Anse Chastenet/Jade Mountain Beach for a few hours - had the best snorkeling there on the island! The other trip we chartered a boat on reduit beach from a local guy named Marlon Brando. A bit sketchy at first but he and his friend gave a nice boat ride. We saw Sandals and sat on the neighboring beach for a few hours and ate lunch at a local hut.

The staff at Coco Palm were the best and truly made this resort amazing. For them I rate this a 5 star!! You had to sign for everything you ate and drank at the end of the day even though you had the all inclusive package. We were nervous since our bills were always over $500. All the staff told us not to worry and put our mind at ease. Our bartenders, Raphic & Dwight were great to us along with anyone else that served us. All staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond our expectations - I'm only sorry i cannot remember more names because we didn't come across 1 person that was not great in this resort.

If money is a concern and you really want to see St. Lucia - stay in this resort and book your transportation with Real St. Lucia Tours. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you for your positive review which we are sure will be very helpful for future guests.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and found us to offer great value for money. There are indeed several points you raised and guests are encouraged to work with our Reservations team to assure you book the best room but our Patio Pool rooms are certainly very popular due to their ease of access to the pool and restaurant from your room.

Most of all your kind sentiments will be shared with our team whom we are happy to hear were so helpful.

Thank you for choosing Coco Palm

Warm regards,
Coco Management
