My husband and I stayed at The Langbury in June 2013. We had trawled the Internet trying to find a nice but not too expensive B&B and felt we couldn't ignore The Langbury when we saw just how good the reviews were.
Paula and Nigel and amazing hosts. They are friendly and welcoming without being over the top. Some people don't have that natural ease with people, but they do. They run their B&B with pride and work together as a partnership. We looked forward to Nigel's weather forecast from his iPad over breakfast each morning.
We were welcomed with tea and lemon cake on our arrival, which was just what we needed. Our room was tastefully decorated and clean to perfection. The information booklet provided was extensive and very helpful.
I also can't leave this review without mentioning the breakfast menu. So much choice and everything was delicious. I was (and still am!) pregnant at the time and Paula and Nigel were only too happy to oblige my request of "scrambled eggs - cooked all the way through please". Despite having brought my own decaff tea bags, Paula was very keen to tell me that they had decaff tea bags and I was welcome to help myself.
You would be mad not to stay here.More
