“Weekend Golf Break with Mates!”
Reviewed July 26, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

I had been here before with my Partner and really enjoyed it, so I arranged a weekend golfing with 3 mates. This place is always clean, tidy and very welcoming. The local amenities are very close and you have a lovely view of the Galty Mountains when you wake up, it really is a beautiful part of the world. The accommodation had everything we needed and we will definitely be returning soon. If you are a golfer it is ideal as there are so many good courses within half hour and they are so reasonably priced and in excellent condition!

Hi Simon,
Thanks for your review- it is good to know people appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the Cottage as we take great pride in providing a welcoming and clean home from home for our Visitors. As you say, a great place for a golf break with lots of golf courses within easy reach. We hope to see you (yet) again for another chance to try some other courses in the locality that you missed on this trip. Best regards, Liz & Karl.

“Everything and more”
Reviewed July 16, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We have just returned from a week in this lovely cottage. It had everything we look for. Cleanliness comfort large bed very cool duvet lovely pillows. The leather sofas in the kitchen sitting area where perfect to relax on after a long dayou out. Liz had put lots of extras in that you sometimes forget which came in very handy.the decking right outside was lovely to sit with a drink and all you can hear are birds.
Just to point out that the 3 pubs in the village don't do food. Lizip told us to try 1 in Mitchelstown which was very nice but 10 miles away. The cottage was so lovely I didn't mind popping something in the oven and just chilling after a long day out. Places to go. My favourite was Dingle on the south west coast.do the boat ride out in the bay to see the resident dolphin and the cliffs from the sea are good too. Wexford on the south east Dungannon beach there is very nice there are lots of lovely beaches I can't remember them all.

“A Beautiful Location With Super Hosts”
Reviewed August 25, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I can't say enough of this lovely place. I stayed with my four young grand children while my daughter and her husband took their first trip away.

First, the setting is at the foot of the tallest inland mountains in Ireland. The grounds are an informal English garden and the aroma was heavenly on the deck. The house is immaculate and maintained to the highest standard, furnished with comfortable beds, sofas, chairs, and lovely thirsty towels.

The owners are available but not intrusive. They are very thoughtful and provide many little things that you might forget to buy or bring for just a few days. They were also very thoughtful about the children, providing special glasses and special bed linen for them.

We all had a wonderful relaxing time and would be delighted to stay again. The last day was like Hawaii as the temperature approached 80F and the fragrance of the flowers in the garden below the deck was intoxicating. It was truly gorgeous.

“Excellent quiet location”
Reviewed July 4, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My wife and I stayed 25/6/2016 until 2/7/2016. Mrs Read greeted us on arrival and showed us around this beautiful cottage with spectacular views from the living area. We had all the facilities required for a self catering holiday and even Sky television which was useful when the weather was so changeable. We would highly recommend this venue for those wanting a quiet retreat after a busy day of exploring Ireland which we did visiting Killarney, Kilkenny, Limerick, Cashel, Ring of Kerry and Waterford. We even had a drive North of the border.
