The view is so serene and magnificent, you can hear the distance roll of the waves on the rocky beach and wild birds chirruping in bushes. Built on the side of a hill south of the harbour, at night you can see millions of stars as there is no light pollution.
The room was very cute and nicely done, furnished with modern and traditional elements which made it a nice place to live. There's a kitchenette (complete with dinnerware), a drip coffee maker and a mini bar with supplies so you can make a quick breakfast. The bed is surprisingly comfy although built on the floor. The stone walls provide excellent soundproofing. The owners are very friendly and discreet.
There is only one drawback: the harsh dirt road from the harbour to Melissaki, hanging over cliffs but wide in corners so there is no real danger in case of opposing traffic. There are sharp rocks sticking out here and there and one does need patience throughout the 3km ride.More
