Stayed with family in last week of April 2013 . Had booked a cottage and was pleasantly surprised to live in a ECO cottage . Cottage is great with a double bed , fan and Clean bathrooms.. Food is good, tasty and prepared well.

The place is in the midst of a Tea Garden and very well maintained and home to quite a variety of birds. Enjoyed a lovely holiday with Nature.

They are also very responsive and answered all queries by email/sms and telephone.

They have a very co-operative staff and provide Excellent service.
Both Avik and Ronnie did a great job of arranging all safaris to Kazaringa without any problems. They have an excellent driver / guide Ali who is great to have during the safari trip.

I also understand that they organize trips to Tawang and Sikkim.

Wholeheartedly recommend them and would love to do the Tawang trip with them next year

Room Tip: Choose the Cottage and Kaziranga closes from May to Sep

As the name suggests, this hotel is located in a forest type area. We had booked a dormitory for 6 of us(but it had a capacity of 8) and the stay was just amazing. Dormitory was very big with clean and nicely maintained bathrooms. The only thing, not good i would say, about the bathroom was that there was no hanger or anything to put on our clothes. They also have bathrooms and a washbasin outside the room which was also good. So for a big group like us, it will not be an issue to get ready.
The sad part of the stay was food. There were too many flies around while we were eating and they just kept falling in our food. Taste wise food was good but the flies spoiled everything. Hotel should do something about it.

Room Tip: There is only one dormitory in this hotel. So if you are planning to book this, i would suggest to b...

We listened to tripadvisor and our instinct and booked it online. Very cooperative and communicative staff, awesome location, very very clean bathrooms and tents. They arranged everything we requested for and made our stay super awesome.

We just fall in love with this place and would like to visit again.

Room Tip: Tents (with or without attached bathroom) are equally better and best for budget travelers..

We have booked with this camp since it offered the only reasonable price around Kaziranga. How lucky we were! Nice location, outside of the buzz of the Central park, away from the road (which can still be a nuisance since the truck traffic is very heavy by night, so bring ear plugs) in the middle of a small tea plantation and 5min walk from a nice village with very welcoming people.
The food is delicious, you want to take the cook with you back home and all the staff is tremendously warm. We took the tent which was huge and very comfortable. The shower and toilet facilities were outside in the garden but extremely clean and we were provided buckets of hot water whenever we needed them. As a plus the camp has its own jeep to take you to jeep safaris and the driver is a very knowledgeable person that will make your trips memorable. Avoik, the manager has been extremely helpful in arranging things for us not only in Kaziranga but on our way on too. Staying there makes you love Asamese people. It's a great publicity for the state

Room Tip: I guess cottages in the back of the yard are a little bit quieter (because of the strong truck traff...

i would strongly recommend this place for great stay, amazing hospitality and finger licking assamese food. The manager avoik is very helpful who makes sure that your entire stay is comfortable. Staff is also very courteous.Parking facility is also available. The place is surrounded by bamboo trees and tea shrubs. The rooms have attached bathrooms. If you are staying in a tent than common bathrooms are to be used (to give you a feel of camping). Which is not a issue because common bathrooms are as clean as room bathrooms. And anyway they provide you with a bucket of hot water because rooms do not have hot water connection. Make sure to ask for extra blanket if you are staying in a tent. Because we had gone in the month of february and the temperature dropped to 10 degrees and it became little chilly in the night.
