“One man's incredible dream”
Reviewed October 16, 2012 via mobile

We found this because of the previous reviewers on trip advisor. Thank you so much.
Chris Mansky showed us around the museum, explaining why Blue Beach is the official birthplace of vertebrate palaeontology in Canada. The fossils he has collected are amazing.
We then strolled along the beach in the rain and were able to see a myriad of fossils along the way. Truly a remarkable site

How many places can you wander for 2 minutes on a beach and legally pick-up a fossil? Blue Beach is the place. Fossils are literally everywhere you step. But before venturing onto the beach, stop at this museum. This couple is both knwledgeable and enthusiastic about all they have found. They want everyone who comes to be as excited as they are about this area. We found this museum by word of mouth and were throughly delighted. A great experience. In fact, breathtaking and we took away a few fossils!

“Awesome experience.”

The curator spoke to us, educating us for a good part of an hour. The exhibit is very interesting if you are into fossils, but don't expect large specimens. We then went down to the beach and found our own fossils. The value can't be beat...it was free. We enjoyed ourselves so much, however, a donation will be sent.
