A great place for sunset photography. The cemetery has that beautiful decaying look with some of the areas a little bit overgrown and some of the tombs showing their age. If you are into exploring old cemeteries this will definitely float your boat, otherwise I would advise going to Camperdown memorial rest park instead (just over the wall).

Nice place to let your mind wander. A haven in the city, almost like a magical, secret garden. Quite surroundings to meet.

Such a surprise to find this lovely spot in busy Newtown. Perfect for a short stroll - and lots of photo opportunities.

hidden away of the main street you really have to go looking for this gem but once there you will be amazed at what you find. I was there for an art installation that was happening at the time. For those who don't know Newtown well its a quirky, art scene and well as being a foodies delight. Only problem I find is parking so use public transport where you can. The cemetery have graves from the 1800s as well as more recent ones. You can feel the atmosphere... The old rectors home on site is wonderfully preserved as well... a definite for those who love history
