We stayed here for four days as a central location for a cycling holiday. The price was reasonable for the trip but didnt include breakfast which at 19 euros a person was a bit steep.
The hotel is situated about 2 miles outside the main coastal town but there are a few bars and restaurants nearby. We didnt try the on site restaurant so can't comment on the quality of food or VFM. We did go to the Sports Cafe bar which was ok but a bit impersonable. However, the large screened x-box kinect was quite entertaining.
The hotel is definitely geared to the business community with a large conference centre. The room itself was large and relatively comfortable. Unfortunately the floor was laminated, which meant the beds were very prone to movement and sliding. The cleaners came on a daily basis but never really seemed to finish the job, such as emptying the bin, replacing tea and coffee and cups, or filling up the mini bar. We could have done with aircon but slept with the windows open instead.
All in all, It was okay but as i said, more geared to the business community.

Room were very good. Room Service was excellent. Restaurant was very good . Food quality was excellent. Very near to Kukenhof Tulip Gardens. Country side beside the hotel was very good with tulip farms all around. Excellent location. Parking Space was also big and safe.

very big hotels average rooms functional toilet impersonal service breakfast is just ok hotel carpets are dirty and ill maintained free wifi in lobby usually for tour groups not suitable for those who want to rely on public transport, god knows how such hotels get 4 star standards in nl, in india it would have been imposible

Room Tip: take a room facing the outside view and not overlooking the hotel terrace or other rooms

Big hotels, many nice features, but impersonal. Restaurants are expensive and breakfast is not included with room. Parking is free. Rooms are comfortable. This is a nice place to stay and is very convenient to Keukenhof Gardens. Having to use the internet only in the lobby is quite inconvenient.

The NH Leenwenhoek hotel is located in the Dutch countryside which can be ablaze with multicoloured fields of tulips in the right season. Other times, you're looking at fallow fields of cut stalks.

The hotel is a nondescript, 3 storey building about 12km from Leiden town and about 30 km from Amsterdam. It seems to be mainly a convention or tourist hotel. Other than a casino next door, the nearest shops are at the beach, about 4km away. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel and the bike ride there is pleasant enough with a bicycle path for most of the way.

The rooms are dated and unimaginative in decor but comfortable, but not the place you'd spend more time than necessary. Rooms are centrally heated/cooled and can be warm in the spring months when I was there. No view to speak of.

There are tea/coffee making facilities and an in-room safe. Bathroom, like the rest of the room, is utilitarian.

Overall, the hotel is very spacious, perhaps because of its out of the way location - the lobby is large and airy but plain, and there is a large restaurant behind the lobby with convention rooms scattered about.

The breakfast is quite good by European standards, and the restaurant like the rest of the hotel, seems designed for large groups of people. There is plenty of lounge space and private corners where small meetings can be held.

First of all: the hotel has a good standard, but does unfortunatly not fit completly in the 4 star category.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer help in different kind of languages, I saw even a concierge with the Turkish flag on the language offer badge.
Parking at the hotel is free. Wireless LAN is free in the lobby on 30 minute basis (vouchers are free to pick), wireless in the rooms is quite expensive.
The breakfast is great. It does offer a great choice between different bread styles, sweet spreads, cheese and meat. Even different style of fruits, soja milk and johhurts are available.
The buffet in the evening even offered various choices and was good - nothing extraordniary, but we liked it.

The hotel is a bit far from the beach, it will take at least a 25 minute walk to get there. If you're with kids a rather long walk. Parking spaces at the dune area (from there it is still a 600 meter walk) are very limited, so probably renting a bike would be an idea (10€ per bike per day).
Our room was in "tower" 6 - the hotel can have many guests (I would guess at least 300 to 400 rooms, probably more), but the walks are not very long. The room was not very big, the bathroom contained a small shower (only one person does fit in there) and a bathtub.
The matresses were very thin and seemed to be old, they sagged a bit. The sheets were clean and even the carpet looked at least clean.
The cleaning staff seemed to be a bit sloppy - we had some spiderwebs at the edges of the room and even there was some clearly visible hair in the bathroom. The smell in the room was a bit odd, but was gone after the we've opened the window during the stay.

The town of Noordwijk is just 4km away, and does contain a small shopping street, so you spend some time there on a cloudy day.

If we wouldn't had a special offer for 2 nights which included a buffet for two on one evening, I would have said the price of 168€ would be too high. (Buffet was at least 25€ per person without brewereages or drinks).

Stayed here recently for a congress. It is a big congress hotel. The location is nice close to the sea and the "bulb fields" in spring, so you can visit the famous Keukenhof. Also cities like Leiden, Haarlem and The Hague are somehow close by.
The personnel is friendly. Service is great: When my wife and a colleague asked for something special for my birthday they arranged balloons in the room an free breakfast in the room next morning The rooms are OK, nothing special. There is a swimming pool which we did not use. Special is that they have two squash courts which is perfect after a long day of congress. However don't pay the full price, get something better through their own website, or for example booking.
