“Fusion Vietnamese food in a trendy setting in Preston”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

We were given a table for 10 persons with two long bench seats and two chairs. Not conducive if you intend dining for a while especially if you are from the older generation. Seems to be catering mainly for the Gen X and Y crownds. Good choices on the menu for sharing. Service staff were great and promply replaced my pork belly (Thit Bo) dish as I inidcated that some of the pieces of pork were tough. Our other dishes were delicious, fresh and healthy options. Not greasy at all and not too salty. Great to see that it's an all day dining location for Preston. recommend that when you are booking to request proper chairs if dining and not have the bench seating.

“Good coffee but terrible dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

I've been here a few times for take away coffee and it has been good.

So I was hoping that my new local would be our new "go to" for dinners when we don't feel like cooking but this was not to be.

Our group of 3 went for dinner last month and ordered 2 entrees, 2 mains and 2 desserts. The entrees of spring rolls and satay chicken were ordinary if not salty. The main of Pad Thai was doable but the Vietnamese vegetarian buddha's feast was terrible. Even for an SE Asian like myself I found the taste and smell almost unbearable. It tasted and smelled simply of pickled bamboo shoot, and oily.

The sticky date pudding was ok but creme caramel was too cooked so wasn't pleasurable.

If you would like real Veitnamese food that's even cheaper in price, go to High Street.
