We ordered beef burger and deep fried chicken burger. They are all ok.
Love their Onion Rings, crispy outside, sweet and soft inside.
Very disappointed for the chips, you can tell they are not fresh.

Went here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and couldn't have been more pleased with the food. We ordered the pressed rib sandwich which was just like eating Texas barbecue...it was so good! We also enjoyed their unique blend of home-made soft drinks and sides of bacon and french fries. The portion sizes are not large but we left satisfied and will be returning again soon.

we walked in excitedly when they first opened, having read positive reviews and writeups. we ordered the special of the day, their deep fried chicken with special secret rockwellian spices. to us it was just an expensive version of kentucky fry, not that much different and $35 for 1/2 chicken was outrageous!

We were very excited to hear about the new burger joint on Smith Street at Huxtable has been our favourite for many years now. Felt the food was like eating oily McDonald burgers.

The guy who showed us to our table was also our waiter right from the beginning had a little bit of an attitude - it was like he really didn't enjoy serving us. Not a good start for first timers - everything we asked for was a chore for him - we ordered a variety of dishes and asked if we could have our burgers cut in half as we wanted to share them - he looked at us and said "I'll bring you a knife" - very bad service. If he is a part owner this business it's not going to last very long. We had to ask twice for our chips which eventually came after we had finished our meal.

Needless to say we will not be returning - Go to Huxtaburger or Bluebird 134 Johnston, Collingwood instead.

Wonderful hosts! A great atmosphere with a very laid back but suave setting and a wickedly delicious menu! Wish we had one in Brisbane!
