“Great Local Cruelty Free Shoes”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

The Vegan Wares shoes are designed and made on site. They are going to cost more than target accidentally vegan shoes as they are made in Australia by adults who are paid a fair wage. The other reviewers are obviously missing the point of ethical shopping. I have had nothing but positive things to say about vegan wares, I have the black vegan swede desert boots and they have held up against ware very well.

“Overpriced nonchalant staff”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

Their vegan leather is average and overcharge! Agree with the reviewer above. So many other establishments to visit. Avoid.

“"Cruelty-free shop" Cruel to customer and wallet”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Overpriced products and seriously stiff and inflexible service. Being a cruelty free company one would think these guys would run their business ethically and geared towards providing good customer service.

To send shoes they charge $22 (cost of vegan shoes you can now buy at Big W, Target and Kmart - not marked as vegan, instead non-leather) and included in this charge is "handling" which I am told is for going down to the post office to send them and constitutes more than half of the entire charge.

I missed my first shipment and of course, to get the shoes back I had to repay shipping and their handling charge period.

I regret paying 300 for non-leather shoes. I suggest you look elsewhere. We can support such organisations that are cruel and cold to people.
