I stay for 2 night with my lovely wife. First impresssion with this hotel was very good. The reception staff was very friendly. I stay in superior room with balcony and astonish mountain view. Little problem with the toilet flush that can not working properly, but hotel staff gave quick respond to fix it. During our second night stay, we are trying to order some food by calling room service. But no one respond, so we must go out to the restaurant to make some order. At that time the restaurant staff was very busy serving the guest, so maybe no one heard our telephone calling. Luckly we have no problem with the food, the taste was average good and arrive on time in our room.
Overall I think this hotel was giving good service, with some minor problem that need to be improved. I recommend this hotel as one of the best service hotel in Puncak, Bogor area.
Tips:
1. Pay attention to Puncak area traffic arrangement, specially for weekend. Otherwise you can stuck in very heavy traffic jam! You can find the traffic info on their website.
2. Advance booking are required, because the room are always fully booked during weekend.
3. Don't forget to bring your sweater, the weather is very cold at night.
4. Have a great stay. ;-)

Puncak pass resort offers stunning view, good service but their rooms should be improved.
We arrived at the resort pretty late at night and was pleased that the manager was able to converse with great english. We stayed in the Bungalow Family Deluxe consisting of 2 Bedrooms with a bathroom each. One room had 2 single bed and the other had a queen sized bed.

Firstly, we had dinner at the Waringin Restaurant, just beside the resort reception. Overall their food were too salty. Especially the grilled chicken that we ordered.

As the bungalow we stayed at was quite far from the reception, we were at first shocked when we were told to walk to our room with all our traveling baggage so late at night after dinner.. So we requested and they got a mini van to fetch us to our bungalow..

Disgusted that my bed had strands of hair and the pillows were very old with stains inside. Towel had a very unpleasant smell. Wifi signal was poor on my first night but was improved on the second day after informing the hotel staff. The sofa was also very uncomfortable as the cushion kept sliding out.

Breakfast was rather medicore. I liked their fried omelet and porridge. But of course with the stunning view of lush greenery, well cared gardens what more could you ask for.

Do take a 15 min walk out of the resort to a tea plantation called perak.teh.ciliwung. Admission was 3000Rp per person. And it's better to wear trekking shoes up as road can get uneven.. Had dinner at the restaurant opposite the tea plantation called rindu alam and was able to witness the stunning sunset!!
I enjoyed my stay and really love the cooling climate in puncak!

Puncak Pass resort is a great place to relax, it located in a top of puncak. I stayed here for a night, at superior room, but at this type only twin bed available. i really satisfied stay at this hotel, isolated area, the room was clean, good hospitality, and had a good food. we had a early breakfast and breakfasting dinner (ramadhan package). at the morning, we could enjoy the sounds of birds from the balcony, and also dramatic sun rising with a mountain and valley surroundings and very clear sky, i could see other mountains in the distance. i felt like a second honeymoon when i stayed here.

Room Tip: if you choose superior room, you should stay at 301, nice balcony with a pines trees surroundings i...

Refreshing cold mountain air at night. However you do feel a little scared at night.
Rooms and bathroom were of average standard could be cleaner for the price. Had room service dinner which was reasonable and the buffet breakfast was a good assortment

I stayed here twice, 3 days 2 nights in 2 different bungalow suites, on separate occasions. It's not the typical high end bungalows but still comfortable. Both experiences were great, loved the place right away. It only takes around 2 hours to get here from Jakarta, but avoid peak season and public holidays as it's always full and a traffic nightmare. But other than that, great views, cool weather, nice rooms with fireplace, friendly people and good food. The first time was with family and the second time was with my partner. They all loved it.
There were plenty to do and see around the area, the highlight would be the Safari, one of the best I've ever been to, other activities you can try - picking strawberries or just buy them at the Strawberry farms, check out the nice restaurants with great local food, enjoy the botanical gardens and do a little bit of shopping - the fresh local produce or hand crafted souvenirs.
You can feel the fresh air around you, the overall atmosphere is just great and you can either spend your time walking, enjoying nature...or just grab your favorite book, sit next to the fireplace, sip your wine and enjoy a good read. Totally relaxing and nostalgic.

Room Tip: For couples, the Anggrek Suite Bungalow, private and nice garden view on the outside. For family, t...

My husband and I wanted to go for a night retreat and decided to stay at Puncak Pass Villa. I know this place well as I have been many times come just to have their famous Dutch Poffertjes since I was a teenager, but never had the chance to stay over there.

When we arrived, we were politely greeted by the staff and escorted to our villa. Our villa was already well prepared complete with a personalized welcome letter by the General Manager, Pak Joko. We were given a 2-bedroom villa located at far end of the complex which made us really happy as we don’t want to get any disturbance during our stay, the staff understood well we wanted privacy. We were much impressed with the place, the natural view, the fresh air we breathe in and most importantly its cleanliness; it was surely a five star hygiene standard. With the cold puncak weather at night, we light up the fire in the fireplace in the living room accompanied by their famous Poffertjes and hot chocolate. The complex area was really quiet there was no noise nor disturbance... seemed like no one was there but us… we could only hear the sound of the nature… and we felt so peaceful to stay there…

Both my husband and I were really happy with the experience and surely will come back again, we’re glad that we stayed there to know that there is a nice place just 1,5 hours drive from Jakarta we can easily go to.

We stayed there for one night, the location is good. But overall the hotel seems to be average only. The Beds were horrible, not comfortable at all. Breakfast was good, room service was also good. It was raining most of the time, so had difficulties in going to restaurant. The view from the room was excellent.
