When you stay in San Andres and take a trip around the island then I recommend to stop at El Paraiso.

You get typical local food at a good quality. Service is friendly but I assume that you have to have Spanish knowledge to make your orders....

After having lunch you can switch to the chairs at the beach or have a nice swim in the sea (careful the waves are a little bit higher than at San Andrea beach)

Loved, loved, loved this place! The fried fish was the best that we had on the island and we ate a number of other restaurants, but we kept coming back to this one! My husband claimed it was his only little Paradise! The kids enjoyed playing in the water right in front of the restaurant and they also enjoyed the food and they can be picky sometimes! Definitely worth a stop (several stops).....you want find better fried fish on the island.

We arrived at this delicious restaurant by surprise. And surprise we were. We ordered the paella which is a freshly prepared dish and we were warned would take at least 45 minutes to prepare. We took advantage of their beautiful beach and the restaurant provided lounge chairs and umbrellas free of charge. They notified us when our food was ready. The dish was amazing. Perfect in every way. From seasoning to the different blends of seafood and meats. We did not expect such a perfect dish. El Paraíso is definitely a fitting name.

The fish is delicious, and the beach is really nice and not too crowded. The service though wasn't that great and the waiters seemed bored and uninterested in the guests. The food takes a while to come out as well.
