in my opinion, one of the best beaches in goa. its not so developed yet, and hopefully it will stat this quiet way. if you want more backpacker action (meaning anything happening after 9pm, or meeting other travellers) you should head to palolem just south.

If you are looking for a beach less crowded and peaceful then this is the place to be. Great for a romantic holiday. Party animals stay away as there is nothing here for you.

With Palolem getting commercialised, many tourist are choosing this beach. Great beach, clear water..may have to be careful while swimming as there are many rocks in the ocean..

i like that there were no venders or cows on the beach. i saw a local person picking up garbadge which is a rare sight. the ocean is not full of water sports and noise making boats.

Agonda is a terrific beach with beautiful water and sand. If you happen to be in South Goa do make it a point to visit this one. There are not many options for accommodation options in Agonda except beach huts, so it might be difficult for us Indians to have a comfortable stay here. I would recommend that you stay in Palolem and either hire a scooter or rickshaw to visit this beach. The beach is so blissfully devoid of crowd and so clean. You can spend hours in this beach, sit down at a nearby shack (we went to the one named "Madhu" - awesome lemon ginger honey tea at just 40 rupees) and enjoy the beautiful sights.
