“Wonderful beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

If you are looking for a quiet beach, far from junksellers and partypeople - Agonda is the place. There are many restaurants to choose from, and there are a few shops on the main road.

“slow down to agonda”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

I think all the previous reviews have highlighted that this by far is the quietest & cleanest beach in Goa. I would agree to that and add what more you can do in Agonda:
- If you wake up early at around 700AM you will be able to see dolphins from the shore itself. Can hire local boats for a closer look. Only beach in Goa where this was possible
- Just look across the beach and be amazed that there are more cows chilling there than people
- Hire kayaks from local resorts and go kayaking
- Adore the northern most point of the beach with its back / still waters. try and take a swim there. Almost like a still pool.
- Try hiking the rocks nearby
- Do this over and over again

“calm and quiet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

The Agonda beach is very nice quiet beach. This is an ideal location for a lazy beach holiday. The 3km beach stretch has a lot of beach huts.
There are some stray cattle wandering on the beach, whose droppings tend to make the beach dirty. stray dogs are another menace, especially during the night.
If what you want is to Rent one of the huts, spend the day lazily by lying on the beach bed reading a nice novel. Try some of the marine dishes from the restaurants around. Then Agonda is certainly the place for you.

“a sheer beauty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

hopefully this beach will never get jam packed because then it will be over... no more tranquility, relaxation, hanging out and doin nothing like nowadays!

a sheer beauty, a hidden gem, a hideaway... no more words for that!
