An excellent stop is you are there to see the Theater since it adds context to the site and why it was built.

Great ancient statues from the site. Worth a look around while you're there.

“Tiny and somewhat run-of-the-mill...”
Reviewed July 11, 2011

A somewhat small museum adjoining the main Epidaurus site, this can easily be seen in less than 30 minutes. I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from visiting, but compared to Delphi and Olympia there is less here than you would think. My main interest in going was to view the numerous medical instruments used in the sanctuary in ancient times; these are displayed in a glass cabinet when you enter. Signage is fairly minimal. A quick visit will suffice for most.

“Small but interesting if you like medical history”
Reviewed September 24, 2010

Epidaurus was a major healing center in classical Greece. The museum is small, but there are a lot of interesting artifacts that show how ancient medicine was actually practiced.

“Nothing Special Really”
Reviewed September 22, 2010

The Epidavros Archaeological Museum is very small and takes only a few minutes to see. It contains some of the sculptures from the archaeological site nearby. The big attraction in the area is the ampitheater, which is 2,500 years old and still in use today.
