Richard is very helpful and friendly. Although he didn't have a room in the main casa, there are two more rooms in his mother's house, so we stayed there. She is a fantastic woman who made us feel so at home! The rooms were clean. 1 had a double bed and a single, and one had two small double beds, both with en-suits. Breakfast was served on the patio and the best that we had eaten in Cuba, with home made biscuits and an abundance of fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheese, breads... Very central location. Richard's Mum acts as the security guard so there is no need for a key to the house or to your rooms, because she is always around to let you in. In fact, she's so welcoming, she sits in front of the T.V. next to the door and greets you as you walk in. Tiny language barrier, but Richard speaks a bit of English. Car parking around the corner in a gated lot. 4 CUC for 2 nights and they cleaned the car every night!
