Great rustic modern looking old brewery transformed into a hotel, they provide also their brewed three types of beer, spa, jacuzzi, steam shower, sauna and hops bath in wooden tub, very good service in general, they have also a supermarket next door and a pub on the underground floor, clean nice rooms but have not seen double beda only single next to each other, wifi, tea and coffee in the room, there are two restaurants on the ground floor at the main entrance left the main restaurant and breakfast area, right the pizza restaurant, there is also a parking on the underground to park your car if you wish to use but have to ask reception as there are some beautiful porsches and mercedes AMG cars i think the owners

The staff was the best I've every seen. Very accommodating , courteous and made me feel very relaxed during my stay. We arrived very late in the evening and the front desk staff went out of there way to get us food and drinks. Very much appreciated

Five stars doesn't say enough about this place. You certainly don't expect this kind of quality when you first arrive in Koscierzyna because it does seem like a very quiet town. However this place wouldn't look out of place in the most upmarket of destinations.
The hotel rooms were outstanding and the maids did a great job whenever it was asked of them, they went above and beyond expectation in my mind.
The spa was wonderful and extremely relaxing likewise with the beer bath treatment (I did find the water slightly too hot for me though).
The restaurant food was great with a great selection of meals from two menus and likewise with the breakfast menu.
The pub downstairs was a highlight for myself and I'd to give a special commendation Pawel Patzer, the manager, who was extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Thank you to all the staff who worked extremely hard in looking after us and making this break such a fantastic time.

The Hotel is very nice and clean. The service is efficient but lacks friendliness. We booked a deluxe double room and was given a twin room which they were unable to change. We visited for a relaxing spa weekend. Be warned that there is pretty much no where else to go in the town. We could not find another bar in the vicinity. However the worst part was the Saturday night disco which did not stop until at least 4am and thumped through the room keeping us awake. So much for a relaxing weekend!!! All in all a pleasant but not exceptional stay and we would not hurry back.

Visited Stary Browar as part of a relaxation package deal. The town of Koscieryzna is a little out in the wilds, but is still easily reachable by train from Gdansk airport for a very small price. The hotel itself is situated in an old converted brewery that now houses a small shopping centre, restaurant and pizzeria. The style of the hotel is very in keeping with the brewery; traditional, yet modern enough to suit all types of travellers.
The staff were super friendly and helpful and most spoke good enough English to help us settle in well (which we really appreciated, thank you ladies)! The huge rooms are clean, modern and well equipped. We took advantage of the spa facilities, which included jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and the famous beer bath, all of which are highly recommended for a relaxing stay. Our visit also allowed us access to the restaurant and pizzeria; both of which served very lovely food by attentive staff.
The only thing that lets Stary Browar down is the location. Unfortunately, barring the shopping centre and small market square, there isn't a great deal to do in Koscierzyna. Our hotel package included a pass to the nearby swimming pool, but it was a 30 min walk away and somewhat difficult to navigate around on a count of the language barriers (though that would be our own faults). It is worth visiting for the afternoon if you want something to do!
Overall, Stary Browar is a gorgeous little hotel and the prices they charge make it somewhere even more worth trying. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so welcoming!
