Godfather Trilogy has always been one of my favorite movies of all time, I reached Giardini real late, the hotel I stayed in told me that the average price for Godfather tour costs between $140-180 euro, that is a lot for just 5-6 hours tour, so I searched online and found Noema Viaggi, Isabella responded in prompt and gave me clear meeting point instructions, I booked it at 10 PM, and the tour is 2:30 next day afternoon, for $34 euros.

The guide Mr. Christy is a kind, such informative person, I can feel his passion for his hometown and his job, he provided a lot of background stories, not just about the movie, but also the town and the history of Savoca. What amazed me more is his attentiveness to all of us, he patiently answered each and every questions.

If you are also a big fan of the Godfather movie, want to go on a tour with a reasonable price, here's the email for Isabella, incoming8@noemaviaggi.it.

What a wonderful little village/town. Fans of The Godfather should not miss this place. Great opportunity for photos. Walk the long hill to the church where Michael and Apollonia were married. Not as commercialized as one would think. The bar has a lot of memorabilia from the movie and worth an hour and a drink or two. One visit is enough but it is a must on things to do while on the east coast of Sicily.

Savoca is just fabulous and the Bar Vitelli a constitution.
Sit under the pergola, after a good nose around the village, enjoy the shade, the magnificent view and the best refreshing lemon granita you can find around the area!! Memories of the respectable Signorina Maria, passed formal owner, still echoing enchanting the place.
Good choice of location Mr Coppola! ;)

Cute place, full of Godfather memorabilia, but that's where it ends for me. Cannoli was €10 and people working not so friendly. We found a nicer place across the street with much better prices and friendlier staff.

More than lived up to expectations. Surprisingly not commercialised, although you do have the opportunity to take some photos whilst sitting at the table (guns provided) where Michael Corleone sat with his minders. Good wine, excellent service and truly spectacular scenery.
