My husband and I stayed for 7 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. This place is excellent first and foremost because of Jayne and Roberto, who are amazing hosts. The 2-floor appartments are modern, clean and high tec and everything works perfectly. The view is spectacular. I could keep on stating all the fantastic things about this place. Go there and experience it yourself.

We stayed four nights at Palas Cerequio recently and had the most perfect experience. Our hosts, Jayne and Roberto, could simply not do enough for us. We had a grumpy 7-year-old with us and they even managed to keep her happy! The property is beautifully appointed and maintained, our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the food was superb. We visit Italy often and stay in different places, and different styles of accommodation - Palas Cerequio is up there with the best.

A surprise in the middle of the Cerequio vineyards. We stayed with our kids and parents. The modern rooms are amazing and the view is breathtaking. The traditional rooms are very charming and the bathrooms are very big. Every room has either a steam bath or a sauna. The service is impeccable and charming. The food is very good. The wine list is extensive and includes other producers (the hotel is owned by the Michele Chiarlo winemaker). The only small downside is the size of the pool. It is very small and the deckchairs are very close to each other. The WIFI also had some problems. Maybe there could be more fresh fruit for breakfast in summer. Nevertheless it was a perfect stay and we will definitely go back.

We have recentely spent the weekend at Palas Cerequio with my husband, who did a lot of research of the hotels in the area and this one exceeded our expectations! We were greeted by David, who gave us excellent hints about things to do in the area and had a wonderful service from Jayne and Roberto throughout the stay. All of them are very hard working people who care about their guests. Thanks to them, the place stays as perfect as it is! Worth the money!

Room Tip: We stayed in the older house as we prefer that to modern, and it was just what we needed.

We stayed at Palas Cerequio for 5 days in the summer 2013 and we had our best hotel experience - ever! The service and the hotel are excellent. We arrived around lunch and were welcomed by Jayne and Roberto who runs the hotel. They quickly introduced the place, carried our luggage to our room and asked if we have had lunch yet because otherwise they would prepare some lunch for us. So within the first hour we were placed on the big terrace with a view over the vineyards and were eating 2 really good pastas, drinking a glass of wine from their own vineyard, having received a lot of information about the area and made reservations on a local restaurant for dinner in the evening. This really good service we experienced during the entire stay and from all the personnel. They did all the practical arrangements for us e.g. booking of wine tasting on the different vineyards, reservations for restaurants, suggestions for points of interests etc. You just tell them what you would like and they fix it for you.

Before arriving I had emailed with Roberto regarding which room that would fit us. He recommended the Bussia room, which also turned out to be the best room at the hotel - at least in our view. The room was located on the first floor and was simple but smart. The room consisted of one big room divided in the middle by a large closet, which separated the living room from the bedroom. The entire wall facing the garden is one big panoramic window with a view over the vineyards as far as you can see. The bedroom had one big bed in the middle of the room where you could wake up every morning with a fantastic view over the vineyards. There was also a big bathroom with a wellness area including a spa and steam bath. The hotel also has a nice area with a swimming pool and sun beds.

If you are interested in wine the hotel has a really big private wine cellar with over 50.000 bottles from their own production and some of the other top wines from the area. Roberto conducts wine tastings for those who are interested. There are 2 standard tastings but if you prefer other tastings Roberto is happy to put a tasting together just for you based on your ideas. We did a Nebbiolo tasting where we tasted some of the single vineyard wines from Cerequio og Cannubi.

I went there with my wife during a weekend break and the place is absolutely gorgeous. The service and the friendliness of the staff was amazing, food and wine were great and we enjoyed our stay very much.

If Ihad to find anything that was not perfect the only thing that comes to my mind is that the water in the pool was too cold for our taste (it was freezing). Everything else was perfect!

I can highly recommend this place and we will be coming back if we get the chance to!

My husband and I stayed for two nights in Palas Cerequio and I wish we had booked it for a longer period. The place is simply amazing: pure luxury with fantastic views to the most beautiful vineyards of Barolo.
In the rooms, every detail has been thought over from the overall decoration to things that make your stay perfect: quality bedlinen, bathtowels and bathrobe, a powerful hairdryer, iPod with a selection of good music, large tv with a number of international tv channels, a very well equipped mini-bar etc. etc. Even if there was no proper restaurant, a sufficient selection of meals was available, so there was no absolute need to go for dinner in the evening. The village of La Morra is not far away but due to the hilly location and high temperatures at least in the summer, it is not possble to make the journey by foot.

We participated in winetasting on the site which was the cherry on the cake. The people running the place, Jayne, Roberto and Davide, were very friendly and welcoming.
It goes without saying that all the luxury does not come cheap. It is, however, worth every euro. The stay in Palas Cerequoi is at the top of my all-time holiday experiences.
