“So tasty and great vegetarian options”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Love Mexican and saw this new little restaurant while driving one day. We popped in for dinner and the food was amazing! Very fresh, generous portions and well priced! It is a hidden gem, on a side street in Port Moody but still very easy to get to and worth it! Had the Vegetarian burrito and it was great, also the chiles rellenos which we really enjoyed! Will definitely be returning to try their other items and the Mexican drinks!

“authentic”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

Little house on the corner -- but worth looking for if you are a Mexican food lover. Very gracious service from our host, who hails from Mexico City. My 'enchiladas verde' were spot on and my companions had good things to say about their tortas and tacos. Lovely garden around the house for the kids to wander in.

“Authentic Mexican Cuisine”
Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

Here is a superb intimate Mexican restaurant tucked away on a side street in Port Moody. 6 of us arrived having a reservation. The place only seats about 35. Very intimate old converted house we took our seats. Immediate request for beverages and they just recently got their liquor license. We requested a variety that we could all share and received a wonderful response that this would be agreed to from the owner. Our feast began and didn't stop. Salad with fresh salsa and guacamole. Burritos. Enchiladas. Everything made fresh and tasted divine. We'll go back for sure.

“Small cafe big taste”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

We popped in for lunch and were very glad we did. The place is small, only about 4 tables, but clean and has lovely decorations. Menu is on a chalkboard behind the counter and offers a nice selection of Mexican foods. You won't get your huge platters of food like you do in other restaurants - you order the tacos you get tacos with sauce and that's it. Which is a good thing as I left happy and full but not over stuffed from pounds of rice and beans.
Son had the cheese quesadilla, I had chicken tacos, husband had the steak burrito and a spicy soup. It was all really tasty, the soup especially (it was a meat soup with peppers and came with small dishes of dried peppers, lime wedges and oregano to add to the soup in whichever quantities made the soup right for you). Service was good. I look forward to going back there again.

“Sunday evening”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We arrived and found a table inside immediately. The outside tables were full as it was a lovely evening. We placed our orders and were served in a very reasonable time except for the drink orders which were a bit slow. The tacos were small but we had been warned and so ordered the larger order. The presentation was attractive and the lettuce was fresh for the tacos and the Avocado salad was good but would have been tastier chilled. The avocado was very fresh. The pico de Gallo was average and so were the chicken tacos were the same. I must however praise the margaritas highly. They were excellent.
