“Island Rythems Sunset Cruise”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

Marty Dread provides and evening of fun reggae music on a sunset cruise. Pac Whale offers cocktails and appetizers (very good) that were plentiful so no dinner required afterwards. The crew is outstanding and everyone was into just having fun dancing on the deck of their stable catamaran. If you want to enjoy a sunset cruise, might as well do one that is unique. Highly recommend it!

“Highlight of our honeymoon!”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

We went on the Molokini and Turtle Arches morning snorkel trip near the end of our honeymoon. Despite our trip to Maui being overall truly wonderful, both of us agreed that this was the highlight. The guides are great, the instructions are clear, the food is tasty, and best of all, the water conditions are perfect. We couldn't believe how much sea life we had the fortune of seeing, including so many sea turtles at the arches! If we'd done this excursion earlier in our vacation, we may have actually planned another trip with PWF. And best of all, it's a really great non-profit that practices what it preaches- that in and of itself makes it a fantastic choice.

“Good food and great company!”
Reviewed September 26, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I just got by from the Pacific Whale Foundation dinner sunset cruise. WOW, we had a very frustrating day and this trip was like a breath of fresh air! We were seated by the cutest couple from California, the weather was nice, the views were great and I love sunsets, yet an ocean sunset is indescribable. The drinks were great, the dinner was excellent and locally grown food was used whenever possible. What made the trip was the company and we really enjoyed the table sitting format. It makes eating much easier. Our server, Betsy, is a marine biologist working with the whales. She was charming and knowledgable. For visitors coming to Maui, take this sunset cruise. The food was great, pretty views and Pacific Whale Foundation cares about the whales. What more could someone want, while on vacation?

“Reggae Sunset”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

The Island Rhythms Sunset Cocktail Cruise is a wonderful way to spend early evening. Cruising out of Ma'alaea Harbor, we spent about two hours on the water. The drinks and heavy apps were plenty for dinner and quite delicious. Marty Dread and his uke-playing companion, Junior Jazz, were a blast. Marty is a great entertainer and a wonderful musician. I especially appreciated that he paused to remind us to take some time for gratitude to be living on this beautiful planet. I wholeheartedly recommend this unique way to experience the beauty of a Maui sunset.
