“Only good thing is the setting”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

We are currently touring Turkey and this is the most disappointing meal we've had so far. The service was slow and the food was less than average. Sit down for a drink and enjoy the setting but skip the food.

“This is an absolute gem”
Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

From the setting to the food to the service this is a real Gem. I went back different days for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
It was originally the village school and the restaurant is laid out in the extensive grounds on a height with views over the village. The original school hose is beautifully preserved and contains a simple museum showing details and artefacts from its inception.
A nice feature is the discreet electronic buttons on the napkin holder, one gets the attention of the waiter / waitress to come to your table and the other requests the bill ( Hassap )
I have attached a few photos of the food to try and give it justice.
A full Turkish breakfast for two was 19 Tl in August 2013 - check the photo spread, we had 26 different items.
Very highly recommended.
There is a regular Dolmus from Selcuk

“Great food and atmosphere”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

We discovered Artemis restaurant while wandering around Sirince and were very glad we did. We were seated at a table overlooking a little garden while "golden oldies" music played on the speakers and we were shown an extensive menu. I have to eat gluten-free which can be a challenge, but there were several good choices for me on the menu. Go here for good food at reasonable prices and a very nice ambience.

“Overrated”

Mediocre food with a glass of the very worst wine I've ever tasted. Good view. But you can't eat the view.

“Good food, great service and a spectacular view”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

The outdoor seating at this restaurant is beautiful. Our waiter was very warm and helpful. I especially enjoyed the side dishes, which you could purchase for a couple of euros. The free olives and bread were exceptional too. It may be geared toward big tourist groups (I did see one), but the day we were there it was quiet. I would definitely recommend this spot as a great way to get away from the crowds elsewhere in the area.
