I just came home from this restaurant and I still barely breathe how much I ate there and how good it was. :) Where to start? Everything was excellent, the staff (a family - this is a family held restaurant) is very friendly, helpful, fast etc. Congratulations for the way you treat your guests!
For lunch we had a forrest soup (with mushrooms), XXL fried turkey steak filled with ham and cheese (why XXL? It was about 45 cm long!), fried potatoes and mushrooms, mixed salad...it was very delicious, you have to go there and taste it by yourself.
The restaurant is big, it's on two floors (ground and 1st floor) and wee where on the 1st floor which seemed like a home. Very nice and interesting decorations. It's a cold and rainy day, so we couldn't eat on the outside terrace, but even from inside the building, the view on the surrounding hills was great.
The Kolaric family makes there own wine, so I reccomend it to try.
The location is great if you have a car, because I don't think it's accessible with public transportation. The Sumski Dvor restaurant is near the town of Jastrebarsko (less than 10 km) and it's about 40 km far from the center of Zagreb. If you have time and would like to explore the Zagreb region, this is a very nice place to visit. Even if you have kids - there are a lot of toys for them.
