What a great location! Rooms are equipped regularly and the kitchen is superb. Breakfast buffet, dinner soup can be taken as lunch, cake in the afternoon, and dinner of several courses. I haven't dared to step on the scale after return so far... Staff is very friendly and helpful.. Not the cheapest location but worth each cent. We haven't visited wellness facilities.

We adored this hotel from the minute we saw the idyllic alpine setting. We received a warm welcome in perfect English, and were even given safe, covered parking for our Harley. The organic food is excellent, varied and generous and the winter garden, or conservatory, is a lovely place to enjoy your meal. We found it to be excellent value for money and an ideal place to get away from it all, leave your mobile phone at home and wallow in nature - whether you' a sporty type or not. The hotel's spa is very well done with a beautiful panoramic lounge and comfortable chaise longues, from which to admire the magnificent scenery. Leutasch is a very pleasant place, and glorious Seefeld, which offers a wider range of facilities, is only a short distance away. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a balcony. My only slight criticism, if any, was the rather small and dated dated bathroom with a separate toilet. But overall, excellent and we'd go back tomorrow!

We booked this as part of the Wanderhotel hiking package through the Alps and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The service was wonderful, and surprisingly fluent in English. From helping us with finding day hikes, to setting us up with everything we needed for our seven day hiking trip there wasn't anything else we could have asked for. The spa facilities on site we excellent, meals top notch. If you like hiking this is a perfect base camp.

We booked 10 days for cross country skiing and what a fantastic find. Nothing could be too much trouble. I think we are the only English people staying at the moment and from the first night we had an English menu without asking. Activities are arranged each day if you want to take part. The food is all organic and is very good indeed. You can even crush your own orange juice for breakfast. Vegetarians are generally well catered for with a choice of dishes. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant and most speak some English (which is rare in parts of Austria). The rooms are spacious and well furnished with room to sit and read. Most have balconies, not always used at -18. We will certainly be back. It is a great location and we have visited the village in Summer & Winter.

We stayed for some nights with extended family. The hotel is very consistent in promoting sustainable economy such as by offering local food. The hiking/trekking arena around Zugspitze is right at your doorstep, so although we didn't do too much of that I can see the hotel being your base for extended tours.

Spent a week here in January, 2008, and I'd go back in a heartbeat. The cross country ski tails are right across the road; the hiking trails are close by as well. Room rate included two good meals a day, plus the obligatory coffee and cake i the afternoon. Fre lockers for your shi equipment, rentals close by if you need equipment. English spoken
(Christian and his Mother), great spa on the top floor; and the best damn preserves made in house. Twenty dollar cab ride from Sefeld train station; all necessary shops right in Leutasch. Great place, reasonable price, good, family owned hotel, surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside ever seen.

I can't fault this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortably furnished, the owner family and their staff are pleasant and helpful. The food is so good that your only problem might be in trying not to eat too much.

The surrounding area is blissfully beautiful and calming. There are plenty of walks, some of them quite strenuous in the mountains, others more relaxing. It is also possible to borrow bikes from the hotel to make use of the cycling paths.

I've been twice already - both times in the summer months, although their main season is winter for cross country skiing - and I certainly intend to return some time.
