First time at the Farberhaus, but not my last! Already planning a longer stay next year....only stayed this time for 5 nights....and that really isn't enough time to do everything in the area. Dawn and Jeff are excellent hosts with vast local knowledge and together with son Chris, they made sure this was a holiday not to be forgotten. The ski slopes are literally a short walk from their wonderful establishment ,which incidentally, ticks all the boxes....warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Also There is more than enough choice laid out for the continental breakfast including fresh bread delivered daily from a neighbouring village ....tasty!...and of course copious pots of steaming tea or coffee to wash it down. In fact enough food to satisfy even the most ravenous of travellers.

Room Tip: Selection of accommodation at the Farberhaus ranges from a double room with ensuite and breakfast included...suitable for a single person or a couple...or opt for one of the apartments either the one bedroom apartment sleeping a maximum of 4 if using the double sofa bed in the lounge area, or the larger 2 bed apartment sleeping a maximum of 6 if using the sofa bed in the lounge area. The apartments are self catering but visitors can opt to have a continental breakfast at a nominal cost. - excellent value.

Well this has been yet another fabulous time at The Farberhaus. Absolutely spotless warm rooms with fantastic views whichever room you stay in. And with the ski lift just a 5 minute walk away being a real bonus! The walk into the village finds plenty of restaurants with great food. Dawn, Jeff and Chris are fabulous hosts and cannot do enough for you, they make you feel very welcome the moment you arrive. I never want to leave! So if you want skiing on your doorstep, lovely clean rooms and great hosts you know where to go .... The Farberhaus. Why wouldn't you! Thank you again for a lovely holiday.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent with fabulous views

From the moment you arrive you are made to feel very welcome & you know you are going to enjoy your stay. Dawn, Jeff & Chris are a lovely family & have lots of useful tips about where to eat, how to get around etc.
The house & the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable and the duvet & pillows were really nice. The shower was lovely, warm & powerful which really helps those aches from the slopes!
Our room was really nice & quiet, we slept like a log.
The breakfasts set you up for the rest of the day, lovely fresh coffee & tea, cereals, yoghurt, rolls, ham/cheese ....and not forgetting the croissants!
The location of The Farberhaus is excellent too, 5 minutes walk to the gondola & village centre.
There is a nice big room for ski/board & boot storage.
WiFi was free & very reliable.
Lofer is a beautiful village and The Farberhaus is an ideal place to stay, we highly recommend it!

Another fantastic holiday at The Farberhaus. Our room was lovely with a great view of the mountains, it was lovely and warm, very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant and set you up for a good days skiing. Jeff and Dawn are really great hosts and always make you feel at home straight away, they cannot do enough for you. The location is great, just a quick stroll into the village where there are plenty of restaurants to eat in and the food is excellent, The Dax and the Zum Schweizer are just two of them. The ski lift passes and the ski hire was very reasonable and we had 5 great days of skiing and we cannot wait for our next visit. Kitzbuhl is only approx 30 min drive away and is a beautiful place to see. There are also many ski resorts close by if you want to experience the different slopes.

This is our 4th year in Lofer staying at The Farberhaus and as usual we had an excellent experience. We had the 2 bed apartment which was very clean and well presented. The shower was huge and had plenty of hot water which is awesome after a hard day on the slopes.

Dawn and Jeff are excellent hosts and we will definitely be returning!
