Overpriced, disturbed by building works (which took 3 phone calls before they ceased), overrun with children plus other faults, this is not the relaxing resort that we, at least, thought that we were paying handsomely for. This has, at least, been accepted by the management who have offered a "free" stay to demonstate that our experience was a one off and that they can do better. Hopefully, they can ...

This was our 3rd time in Zighy Bay and the 1st time with our three young children, the kids club was brilliant and the staff at the kids club were excellent there was a whole variety of entertainment organised for the kids which meant we could at least get to enjoy our meal time in peace!

Just spent a very relaxing long weekend in this hidden corner of Oman. The arrival alone is enough to make you feel transported into another world. You drive up through breath-taking scenery, over the mountain tops to be greeted by a spectacular view of the bay and resort below. Once you arrive in resort your every need is taken care of. My wife and I have stayed in several Six Senses resorts and this is up with the best of them.
All of the rooms have private pools - ours also had direct access to the beach. The room itself was beautifully appointed and of a good size.
There are several dining options in resort with a spectacular fine dining option at the top of the mountain, overlooking the resort. The food was of excellent quality and the wine choice was good.
We were told that the hotel was 70-80% full whilst we were there but at no time did it feel like it. This resort does cater for and encourages families with kids, but you can definitely have a romantic getaway for two and not feel like you're in a family resort.
All in all, an amazing place to escape to. We didn't want to leave.

Total relaxation in the most simply luxurious surroundings of our mini compound, with immediate attention from charming staff. The food was a delight, and the weather so comfortable and design of the room so perfect, there was no need for the air conditioning. The only sadnes was that we had no view of the sea, particularly at dawn when the sun rises above the Gulf of Oman. We wish that we had taken more advantage of the spa - just wonderful. Oh, and that the sea was too rough when we booked for a sunset cruise.
