“Best Secret on Camiguin”
Reviewed February 9, 2012

Nice selection of scotches and wines. Loved the pizzas. Wide selection of sea food, pork, beef dishes. Great Spaghetti. Tip: have your food delivered upstairs for a great view and maybe a game of billiards. Be sure to ring the buzzer for service. Like being in exclusive club!

“Delicious”
Reviewed January 26, 2012

We stayed at Secret Cove Resort so naturally, we had at least one meal at their restaurant.

If you like having alcoholic drinks, they have a great selection of wines & liquors.

We had bacon and eggs during breakfast and it was delicious, especially the buttery potatoes. The serving was big so I wasn't able to finish everything. I'm not a fan of wheat bread so I left that untouched. I felt though that it was a bit overpriced for a breakfast meal.

The best part of eating there is having a beautiful view of the garden with the ocean at the background. It was very relaxing.

Hi Vheya
Thank you for the great review, happy to read that you thought our food is delicious, really too
bad you have not developed a liking for whole wheat bread, we bake it ourselves, fresh daily and it is much healthier then the sweet white bread that is common to the Philippines.

“Average Hotel Fare. Better Options Elsewhere”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

Decent enough food. But there are better priced options on the main road that are less than a 5 min walk from Secret Cove.

Hi CEMMM
Thank you for taking the time to write your review of our Restaurant.
I would like to just bring to your attention that purchasing property especially on the sea, building a Resort with a bar, restaurant, games room, providing free WiFi, local telephone calls, free guide maps etc. etc costs a lot of money especially when you are properly licenced by the municipality and must adhere to so many rules & regulations and always maintain adequate staff
at decent wages and benefits (even in the Slow Season) so when you compare our facility to one that is on a small highway lot, mostly just nipa construction with plastic furniture, staffed by the owners, relatives and mostly underpaid staff using supplies that are purchased only on the island their costs and menu prices will be lower than ours, but I believe that the quality of most of the food available on the highway is not comparable to our meals, definately cheaper though, so if you are on a lower budget, like to eat mostly Philippine meals they are great places to eat at.
Regards

“Amazing food, great value”
Reviewed December 8, 2011

A fantastic resterant by the beach. The menu is extremely varied and the specials are very creative. I didn't think I'd be eating ostrich steak and roast new potatoes on a small island in the Philippines. The chefs are great an the food is very reasonably priced. There's also a very well stocks bar.
