We went to this restaurant once before and decided to give it another go without the kids. Having travelled throughout Vietnam I must say that I am a bit disappointed in their approach, especially with the whole 'starving Vietnam' and Sangs are saving them approach. We ordered dim sims and received 3 dim sims for $14, then onto a crispy salmon which was salmon in filo with a heavily amount of mayonaise and wasabi.
Fried rice, this would be the bigger hit on the menu, a 'special fried rice' which is a standard plate of fried rice with no more than six pieces of chicken was $25. Come on, even the top Japanese restaurant in Beverly Hills in LA doesn't charge $25 for the fried rice. A standard main course is around $30.
The food is really nothing special, rather let me say, nothing that a really authentic chinese/asian or vietnamese restaurant would serve, and certainly charging these prices I would expect that the standard be well above what we received. Go around the corner to the little Thai place, a fraction of the price and just as good food.
Give Sangs a big miss unless you are a strandard tourist and want to throw away your money.
