This was amazing as never before have been on something so organized and well thought out. This young American guy has to be proud of what he has done with the Walk the Plank Zipline tour. Awesome job guys!

A must do while visiting Samana. I've done many excursions throughout the Caribbean and this one easily tops them all. Very very fun, safe and a great way to spend the day. Bart, the owner, was our tour guide. It was a great to have him explain how he got this up and running. Looking forward to hearing how his Eco village pans out. The waterfall at the end was a nice, but I wouldn't dive off the cliffs...a little shallow but ok to jump feet first. Bring a couple bucks for the local kids who help you along some slippery parts on the trail.

A suggestion...try to do this trip early on in your week. It's a bonding experience with the other travellers and you may have some new friends to drink with for the rest of your vacation!

If you dont enjoy this attraction in DR then there is something wrong with you. My husband and I had the best time from the moment we were picked up until we were dropped off at the hotel. Always a story to hear, the history of Samana is incredible as told by Bart, even the story of how he started this whole venture was absolutly intriguing. I have never been on a zipline and I can honestly say it was so thrilling and such a RUSH. It was very easy to do and the people working there were always there to assist and make things safe. There was swimming after, a short jungle walk and then a demo with different foods of the area, we even drank some mamajuana! The staff on this zipline were very professional and they took care of everyone - even a sick person which I thought was very sweet. I miss you Chocolate <3 and you totally forgot to bring our CD to the hotel but it's all good buddy. We will never forget the experience and we have told everyone we know about it. Bart we hope your Ewok village is coming along.

A bus ride into samana off the paved roads and up to the zip line hill was thoroughly enjoyable because of zip-line owner Bart's (from Iowa) colour commentary and stories. A short climb to the first zip line followed by thorough safety checks. 10 lines total, extraordinary views, and very easy. My wife and I went together so it can hold more than 400 lbs weight. 1 hour total zip lining time. After we went to the hidden falls for a voluntary swim, we did a short tasting of local fruit and chocolate, and visited a Virgin beach. We went in the morning from 8-2. Excellent value at 100$pp. we booked through air Canada, but the owner is American and his staff had very good English so booking directly shouldn't be an issue.
