Ocho grill served the best seafood in town! Enough said. There has been countless reviews of Ocho grill, and with good reason, as they give you the 'turo-turo' style of picking the stuff you want to eat and choosing the manner in which they are cooked while at the same time providing you with great ambiance and modern-style seating. The fresh catch is presented to you in a strictly no photographs area and all you have to do is mix and match the dishes with your preferred style of cooking. What surprised me the most is that, unlike same style restaurants here in Manila, they do not charge for cooking. You pay for the seafoods per 100g, minimum 300g, and that is the only thing you have to pay for.
Aside from the dishes, they serve wine and desserts among other things that make this grill a truly modern one. It is simply like dining in a fancy restaurant with the price of fresh caught wet market goods. One should not miss this dining experience when they go to Tacloban.
Word of advice though: go early, as it gets quite full during dinner time.
