I loved my stay here. Pablo and his mum made us feel incredibly welcome, the food was excellent, and the cabin was comfy, clean and spacious, with great views of the beach and rainforest.

The setting is amazing - the beach and bay are beautiful and empty. The rainforest and gardens are alive with birds. And the friendly dogs keep you company on the beach.

It isn't your white sandy beach, nor is it your standard posh hotel. It's a magical mad place of volcanic wilderness . It's a jungle, it's the sea, it's the hummingbird in the back yard. It's the dogs running in the black sand and a pet bird sitting on your shoulder. Morrimoco is a place which you will never forget

We had an amazing time at morromico. It is a beautiful home that sits alone in a cove on the ocean and surrounded by mountains and jungle. Our hosts were so fun and gracious. They have been living at morromico for years and know the flora and fauna as well as the entire area very intimately. I cannot say enough about the experience we had. We spent 8 days traveling along the pacific coast and this was definitely the highlight of our time in the region. It is definitely more expensive then many othe options in the area but it is worth the expense.

Expensive but worth every penny, don't hesitate stay here! Melissa and her mother are fantastic hosts and the property and surrounding topography is absolutely gorgeous. You will have a wonderful vacation at Morromico.

We had booked three nights and extended our stay another night to be able to fully soak up the feeling of remoteness and tranquility before continuing our trip. Melissa and her family, who moved here more than 30 years ago, are true pioneers and their hard work, sacrifice and optimism represent the future of Colombia more than anything we have seen during our trip. In its simplicity, you will find everything you expect from a paradise destination right here at Morromico: true isolation, abandoned beaches, warm waters, excellent homemade food, splendid views, dense tropical jungle and, if you wish to engage in good conversation, interesting guests and well-informed hosts. The newly built "main house" has three spacious terrace rooms looking straight onto the ocean, providing private, comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation, with only the sound of waves to accompany your sleep. We believe this is the best of any options available along the coast north or south of Nuqui.
