Travelled with National Holidays to this hotel in August, it was not the hotel advertised in the brochure so we were somewhat worried, however we had a wonderful holiday, the family who own and run this hotel were very friendly and took us on a guided tour of their family run farm which was one of the highlights. It is a typical Tyrolean hotel, and although it is very old had a wonderful ambience it gave us a real taste of the Tyrol, surrounded by mountains in a lovely little village with a local train service to places like Kitzbuhl and Saltzberg etc. The train ran on time was clean, comfortable and cheap. We found the food first class supplied by their own farm and we were treated to surprise Tyrolean entertainment whilst dining. Although all of the family were lovely special mention must go to Patrick the lovely guide who showed us the farm and to Bastion a waiter employed by the family who was very funny and made us laugh a lot. This old Austrian built family hotel was warm, clean, comfortable and very friendly with good home cooked meals, the garlic soup was to die for and we have written to request the recipe. We will most certainly be back.
