Good ambience but a bit of a walk away from main attractions. Room we had needs updating /decorating.

Breakfast however was excellent and really sets you up for the day in a very healthy way which you need when you are about to face scandinavian prices everywhere else.

Having stayed in quite a few hôtels in Copenhagen I can say that this place is good value for money and that my single room was reasonably spacious, with a modern "designer" feel. I did have a room at the back though, which was probably a good choice given the busy road out front! The staff were all professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was typically Scandinavian with a pretty good choice, especially of breads. The Avenue is just outside of the centre but only 5 minutes walk from Forum metro stop and there are a few restaurants in the vicinity.

Friendly staff and great breakfast may cover their imperfect location and tiny bathroom. Overall I appreciate the opportunity to stay here comparing the price and quality with other hotels in the city.

I loved my stay. The breakfast was great with good selection. The staff was amazingly helpful. We liked the small more European feel hotel. The outdoor patio is a wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon.

Great hotel!! Friendly and helpful staff, a great breakfast, American size large bedrooms and an outdoor patio with comfortable lounge couches. And the mini-bar was complimentary. Something we took advantage of while enjoying a spring day on their patio!!

We arrived for check-in around 10:00 after getting off a cruise ship and they gave us a room for early check-in without any questions. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were in rm 406, facing the street (top floor). The room is very nicely decorated and clean. If the windows are open it is very noisy due to the street out front, but quiet with the windows closed. The forum metro stop is just over a block away and easy access to the airport and the rest of the city. There are plenty of bike rental places around if you want to bike around the city. Charming hotel and I would stay here again.

This is a very smart looking hotel superficially, with a lot of nice design choices and thoughtful choices. But it is not clean. The slip covers on the furniture have never been washed and have urine stains on them from people sitting on the chairs naked. The carpets have never been steam cleaned, and dirt, dust, and stains are apparent. Dust is thick on lamps, tables, everything.

Beds are comfortable, breakfast is wonderful, location is convenient, heated floors in bathrooms.

Hotel is pretty, but don't look too closely.

Room Tip: Rooms are not air-conditioned, but most of the year that's ok.
