Description: Ristorante La Vita é Bella offers a genuine Italian welcome, with great atmosphere and delicious Italian cuisine. La Vita e Bella is located in the heart of Copenhagen, close to the Forum, the Radisson BLU hotel, many theatres, and just a few minutes' drive from Copenhagen's main train station. The restaurant seats up to 80, but also offers out of house catering for up to 200 covers. If you're taking in a show at the Falconer Hall or going to the theatre in Frederiksberg, La Vita é Bella is a good opportunity to enjoy a quick and delicious Italian meal before or after the event.

The food is excellent, but the prices are too high for the a la carte meals - more than 100 DKK for a starter or a pasta dish and more than 200 DKK for a main. The menues are better value for money, although the rations on the dished are far too small. So if you are really hungry this is not a good option. House wine is great. One strange thing: The restaurant is named after the movie "Life is Beautiful," and although the movie is wonderful and positive, the location is in a concentration camp where people starve to death; kind of a weird background for the name of a restaurant...

Tasty food, friendly service and good wine at a good price. To be recommended if you are in the area. We had 4 courses x2 and a nice bottle of wine just under 1000kr.

La Vita e Bella is a fairly new Italian restaurant close to where I live. I often walk by it but for some reason I haven't tried eating there before tonight. Some nights it seems pretty busy, while others it's fairly quiet. Based on my visit tonight I'll be back there again sooner than later.

We had the four course fixed menu and the food was very nice. It was made of fresh and good quality ingredients - and the menu was good value too. The wine was also tasty and very reasonably priced.

The atmosphere of the place was somewhere between relaxed and charming, while it all seemed fairly authentic Italian. The service was also very good too. It seemed like the employees took some pride in their guests having a good experience - which is always a good start. As I said - I'm sure that I'll be back there again.

Had excellent swordfish carpaccio and almost perfect home-made ricotta/spinach stuffed pasta if not for maybe a bit too much butter and sage.

Two of us went here for lunch and we both enjoyed it very much. Three courses with soft drinks and coffee for DKK 275 a head is very good for a restaurant of this standard in Copenhagen.

The antipasto and salad were very good. For mains we both had the Tronchetti di spinaci e ricotta con burro e salvia, which won the best pasta dish in Copenhagen in 2011. One of the best homemade pasta dishes I have eaten. The gelato to finish was also very good.

All the dishes were very beautifully presented and I would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.
