The rooms were small but not too small. It was plenty of room for someplace to sleep and shower. Ask for a room away from the front of the hotel though. With the windows open for ventilation it is very noisy from road traffic and pedestrians talking.

Room Tip: Ask for room that isn't facing the street, very noisy with the windows open.

Stayed here in the first weekend of May for Copenhagen city break. Hotel is located in a safe, residential area, 5-10 minutes on foot from Forum metro station, which has a direct link to Copenhagen Airport (Line M1; 20 mins or so). Going to the main tourist attractions (Christianshavn; Nyhavn) was not too much of a problem with the Metro. Read some reviews on Cabinn hotels before the trip, so knew what to expect. Cabinn Express met my expectations. Stayed in a standard room (could accommodate up to 3 people), but the bed was rather small (narrow); worked round it by putting two single beds together to form a ‘double bed’. Wifi signal was strong (could even stream clips at a reasonable speed). Stayed on 2/F facing Danasvej, which can get a bit noisy during weekend nights (people and cars leaving/getting back from dinner gatherings/nights out in nearby residential blocks). Also the window can only be opened slightly (for security reasons I guess), which made the room rather stuffy... The bathroom, especially the shower place, is very small and water could easily splash everywhere (just have to take care using it). Have to use a small handle to switch from tap to shower (have to remember which one to use!) Electric kettle available, but no safety deposit box (just locked valuables into lugguage). Would recommend it to travellers who just use the hotel for sleeping, and want to avoid hotels in the centre of Copenhagen which are more expensive. If possible, opt for a room facing the inner courtyard rather than Danasvej.

PROS:
Very clean and attractive premisis
Beautiful and safe neighborhood
Excellent service
Close to Tivoli and other attractions
Windows in room open
Nice little outside yard with chairs and tables to smoke
Restaurants, take away and bars in 3-5 minutes walk away
Shampoo, soap, coffee and tea in room included in price

CONS:
Very small rooms
Very small beds
Tiny bathroom (you can almost take a shower while using the toilet :) )
Very warm rooms (June) but you can get a fan in reception for a deposit
Very odd shelf just inches from the bed makes it uncomfortable to sleep on that side because your feet and legs barly fit under it.
No safety deposit box in room or reception
Small fridge would be nice

All in all it has almost everything you need (no safety box). Very good for young people and for people of all ages if you are not overweight. Olena in the reception was very warm, professional and friendly as were other staff. Copenhagen is a very expensive city so for the price you can't go wrong. A very good little 2 star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised.

It is a 2-Star Hotel, so do not expect too much. The rooms are extremely small, so big people avoid this hotel. The overall quality and cleanless is OK. The breakfast is good, but not too much selection. There are a few shops and restaurants around.

This hotel claims "luxury"'on a budget, but their marketer probably grew up living in a cave. There is no luxury here. It is BASIC. The family room is no more than 80 square feet with the bathroom no bigger than an airplane bathroom. It is impressive how they fit a shower in there.

But hey, this is Copenhagen and rooms cost a lot here. What is really bad about this place is the staff and tone. The woman at the front desk is surly and obviously has no hospitality training. In addition, for a budget hotel, they provide no amenities for those on a budget.

For example, as small as the rooms are, there is a big lounge area to hang out and watch tv. You can also eat there BUT they only let you eat the food that THEY sell. This policy sets a very unfriendly and unwelcoming tone. It is no wonder that the lounge is always empty. Needless to say, there are no microwaves provided so you have to get creative with the cheap hot pot in the room and eat your meal sitting on your bed.

We were there in August, the highpoint of tourist season, and this is when the hotel got the bright idea to renovate their lounge so there was really no place to go outside of the room.

This hotel has put a negative tinge to our stay in Copenhagen. We wish we had stayed in Malmo, where the rooms are cheaper and where we stayed at the luxurious Radisson for much less, and had just come to Copenhagen on a day trip.

Room Tip: I don't know of any good rooms here.
