“Lovely Cottage in a beautiful village”

End Cottage does what it says on the tin. It is small and cosy but well furnished and equiped. Situated in the lovely village of Ashford in the Water with two pubs and a well stocked village shop all within easy walking distance (5 mins)

We have not had opportunity to take in the lovely walks around the cottage but have done so in the past so for those of you who enjoy walking too I would recommend End Cottage as a base.

“As we expected”
Reviewed April 9, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We read the reviews about the cottage before booking and were not disappointed, as has been said this cottage catered for all our needs and was well equipped, location excellent, good walks pubs places of interest. It is unfortunate that you cannot park by the cottage although there is a car park close by I could see in the busier season that could soon fill up, but that apart great place to stay.

Lovely cottage in one other nicest villages in the Peak District.
Cottage very well appointed with lovely log burner and very comfortable bed and living room furniture.

Great for walks from the cottage and very easy drive to Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth.

Would highly recommend this cottage .

“Perfect location for a quiet, relaxing holiday.”
Reviewed August 17, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We spent a great week in this comfortable, well-equipped cottage. The Ashford community was particularly warm and friendly. Highly recommend the walk to Monsal. We also enjoyed the food and hospitality at the Ashford Arms and the footpath to Bakewell. Roberts store was great for at-once needs. Wish we had know about the coop in Bakewell upon arrival. Loved our time at End Cottage!

Lovely cottage - well equipped and very comfortable. In quiet village close to beautiful country side. Really recommend it. Cycling the Monsal trail was the highlight - not to be missed.
