We called in to this lovely little restaurant with friends on our way back from Castleton and were pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely although it could have been a little spicier for my liking but the rest of the party enjoyed their meals and the staff were attentive and polite, however one thing I have to mention is the temperature in the restaurant: I was quite cold and had to request the heating to be turned on or up, which was done immediately.
The restaurant is unlicensed but that shouldn’t put anyone off because there's a Spar right next door selling a good selection of beers and wines, etc and the restaurant is happy for you to bring your own alcohol and provide glasses.
We will definately be back next time we are in the area, which I hope will be soon.
