“Gone down hill.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We visited here some months ago and had a wonderful meal. Our meal last week was unfortunately small, bland and very overpriced. They were very busy in the restaurant but I am afraid that does not excuse it. We had tandoori prawns (£10 and tasteless) 2 vegetarian dishes, rice and nan. The vegetarian Korea was ok. Won't go there again, which is a great pity.

“Delightful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

We ate here two weeks ago and had the most delicious curry ever. We had a lamb dish and a chicken dish and the meat was so tender and the sauce was really tasty and spiced to perfection. The popadoms and chutneys were really good too. The service was very good also. I would certainly come back and eat here again.
What made it even more of a delight was that there was no charge to take your own wine or beer in. We were no aware that there was no wine list and were a bit worried when the waiter said the didn't serve alcohol, as we like a drink with our meal. But when he told us we could bring our own and that there was a shop two doors away it was a real bonus.

“Not the best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

After a long day cycling in the peaks we opted to round off our day with a takeaway from the curry cabin to eat back at our nearby campsite having noted the enticing aromas when we passed the night before. The service was good, we placed our order then headed over the road for a swift half and returned to find our food in good time. It was a little disappointing all round to be honest. Pakoras to start were ok, but the mains were below par. My lamb rogan josh was too runny for my liking and lacking in flavour; Geraldine's chicken jalfrezi was rather a lurid colour. Maybe something off the specials would have been better, but then again both of these are quite standard.

“Nice surprise”

Open till late, the chips were delicious as was the garlic naan, just what you need after a few drinks and on the way back to your tent a mile away.
