“Awesome first night experience ”
Reviewed July 14, 2014 via mobile

Walked across here on our first night in mykonos as it was nearby out hotel. All I can say is wow. It was awesome Greek chicken souvlaki and chicken gyros platters. Also had the Greek meze starter and bread and dips. All was really good and for the area and other options nearby was really decently priced. Highly recommended. Also staff were very pleasant and nice. And lastly includes free wifi to share pics of the dishes with jealous friends back home.

“Below average”
Reviewed June 16, 2014 via mobile

When the chef/cook doesn't season the food I automatically know he/she doesn't taste the food. If they're not tasting the food how do they have any idea if it tastes good for the diner? Unfortunately that was the case here. I was lead to believe it would be a tasty experience but it was disappointing. The tzatziki was a touch bland & the chicken souvlaki was desperately crying out for the basics of salt, pepper & a good douse of lemon. The lamb kleftiko want served in the traditional paper bag & lacked flavour. A disappointing meal & we will be venturing further afield rather than returning here during our stay.

“Grandma does indeed have great meatballs”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

Agioa Ioannis is a quiet beach resort, with a dozen or so large hotels but only a few restaurants - luckily it has Vasilikos (also confusingly known as Bellissimo - they share the same location and staff but have slightly different menus with Bellmissimo focussing on pizza and pasta and Vasilikos on slightly more expensive meat and fish meals)

Due to the high price of food at our hotel (De-Light) we had most lunches and quite a few dinners here. Pizzas are fantastic - generous toppings, tasty and varied ingredients. The Greek salad is incredible - lovely fresh salad, a large slab of feta and warm rolls - all this for Euro 6.50. There also do fantastic meatballs (Grandma's recipe supposedly) and good souvlaki.

The staff are totally charming and greet you like friends after a few visits.
