He stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon for a week. We were very impressed from the original greeting to the end good bye. The service was fantastic. Location was far enough away from busy area but close enough to city. Bus stops right outside the hotel. A private beach with free chairs is very close. The hotel staff were amazing. The breakfast was good with many choices and inclusive. We would stay here again.

We just returned from Mykonos and we would like to thank the team of De.Light Hotel for an unforgettable weekend. The location of the hotel on beautiful Ag.Jannis Beach is perfect, overlooking the island of Delos and the Aegean Sea. The spacious lovely decorated rooms had all the luxury we could ask for. We enjoyed idyllic sunsets with cocktails mixed just for our personal taste by Nikos, wonderful breakfasts (thanks for remembering our favorite coffee taste) and had always friendly answers and solutions to our few remaining wishes. The Hotel restaurant is a secret jem! We enjoyed our candle light dinner so much! For someone who wants to relax in Mykonos, with only being optional part of the "movida" downtown Mykonos, De.Light Hotel is the perfect place. Our whole holiday was pure relaxation and joy!
We will definitely return as soon as possible!

My wife and I stayed at De.Light for 6 nights during our honeymoon and were amazed how great this hotel is, but it's the people at De.Light that make this place something special. We felt welcomed as soon as we entered by Maria who took her time to give us the island tips as she pointed us in the right direction to make sure our stay was complete while we enjoyed a glass of wine overlooking the view. Breakfast is served at the pool every morning and is one of the best we have ever had in a hotel and one you will never leave hungry. The bread, eggs, sausage, fruit were all favourites and being waited on by our new friend Vaggelis and Alexander made our mornings extra special. After cruising around to the many Mykonos beaches on an ATV during the day, we would often return to De.Light for the late afternoon sun, relaxing around the pool on the sun beds and enjoying the amazing cocktails made by Nico at the pool bar. We ate in at De.Light one of the nights and we are so glad we did, the food once again was amazing, probably the best we had during our 3 weeks in the Greek Islands. The Chef, Dimitris is a master in the kitchen and we highly recommend spoiling yourself for the experience. We stayed in the Superior Suite in room #33 and loved it. The room was a great size, very modern, nice bathroom with spa bath, comfortable bed and great view from the balcony where we enjoyed a bottle of wine on our final night at De.Light. We cant thank the extra friendly and helpful manager Alexander enough for making our stay and honeymoon very special and cant wait to plan a return journey back to Mykonos soon and enjoy the wonders De.Light has to offer all over again.

Were currently staying at the hotel and everything here is what you want from Mykonos great sea views service and outstanding rooms. We're are delighted with our hotel we normally stay at the ambassador but this hotel is by far much better. Breakfast is just the best no buffet everything is service only and no q for the toast......The menu is great so much choice and everything brought to your table the staff here can't do enough for you, Five star thankfully, the service at this hotel is special and the staff are pleasant and service is quick. Opposite is a great little local restaurant offering quick easy and good food ok for a night where you don't want to venture out. We come here twice a year so done most if the tourist attractions and look for something a bit more chilled .... This part of the island offers that , we hire a quad bike and get about feeling very safe I'm 45 and hubby is 52 and we have a blast on it so good to get around to beaches ... Panormos beach is great for lunch gets you out of the hotel and fun getting over there highly recommend it to experience and nice afternoon out not too "posey " like some other beach locations "pssarou" avoid Nammos this place is expensive and the food is average. Mykonos has lots to offer you just need to get out an explore it , de light hotel is a great hotel, clean very good service and we will be back in September for another week of chilling out . Thank you to Alexander and the staff We will be back in September for another week of luxury, relaxation and five star service .

We wouldn't usually write a review after a holiday, but we had such an amazing 5 days that this is an exception.

From the moment we arrived at the airport being greeted by the driver to our arrival at the hotel where Alexander and a cold glass of white wine awaited us, we felt welcomed, comfortable and at home. We were blown away by the incredible views and tranquility of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy at all times.

The food was exceptional, from the pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit salad and eggs and bacon at breakfast to the incredible dinner we had which was full of surprises and by far is one of the best meals we've eaten. We liked the fact that the menu was small because we knew instantly what we wanted. It was obvious that every dish was prepared with great care and pride. We enjoyed our lunches by pool, and I have to mention the tzatziki which was incredible. We wish now we had eaten at the hotel every night!

One special mention must go to Nikos, the barman who made me and my Mum the most incredible cocktails and when I couldn't decide what I wanted he surprised me with all sorts of different drinks that all tasted exceptional. Another mention must go to Vangelis who was never without a smile on his face and remembered my Mum's very specific coffee order every morning. And finally, Alexander who is probably the friendliest hotel manager we've come across and we had the most interesting chats with him whilst enjoying our evening drinks at the hotel bar.

My mum and I cannot wait to return to this incredibly beautiful place, the relaxation and comfort we felt there would be hard to find anywhere else. Highly recommended to anyone wanting peace and relaxation.

We were pampered from the moment we arrived. The staff are absolutely charming and cannot do enough for you. The manager Alexander was one in a million and so nice. We were upgraded to the De Light Suite with its own pool. Wonderful !! Beautiful spacious room with sitting area and lovely modern decor. The breakfasts are fabulous with an enormous choice of everything and waited on by Vengelis and Alexander . Always with a smile and nothing too much trouble. No time limit for breakfast which was wonderful . They were only too happy to serve it if we arrived at 11am ... So kind .. The whole ethos of the hotel is to Relax and Enjoy yourself ..... Fabulous!!
Maria and Polly on reception were very nice too and helped us organise a fun boat trip round the south coast of the island visiting all the beaches . Stopping for lunch and a swim.
We sometimes ate in the hotel and the food was fabulous . Otherwise we went into town and ate at M.Eating and Nautilus restaurants.
We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will certainly be back ....Soon we hope !!

There are lots of good things about this hotel, its location by the sea and the view, the attention given to style and detail, the cleanliness of the rooms and the very helpful staff, all of whom were new again this year. But, when we booked it was advertised as being a hotel with a spa with a massage per person included in the package. There is no spa, unless the beautifully sited plunge pool is it. Massages could be arranged with a local masseur which would be given in your room which lacks professionalism really I think. Nor did we see any sign of a library unless that was the single bookshelf in reception, ditto CD/DVD's.
The food was first class and the chef here is excellent BUT the menu was very limited and quite pricey. We had a lovely meal one evening after our arrival, but the second one we booked had exactly the same menu and was therefore lacking its lustre a bit. The lunch menu is also the room service menu so again you run out of options very quickly. Breakfasts are a delight though the only downside to which was the coffee. I struggled to get an Americano coffee which was always interpreted as an American coffee - i.e.. Nescafé. I gave up in the end and went elsewhere.
Mykonos is a wonderful island and I have every intention of going back. I probably wouldn't return to De.Lite though.
