We stayed 6 nights at the Mykonos grand and were very glad we chose this hotel. Great service, good location. Family run. Lovely room with sea view. I would recommend this hotel. If I could make some changes.... The prices for the food and drink were very high. I thoroughly recommend that you hire a car and drive to find the little coves and beaches with local tavernas we did this on a slightly overcast day and it was wonderful.
Loved the little efforts such as the ice cold towels that Eleni brought to us around the pool. And you mustn't leave without trying Fontini's Greek coffee! :)
Overall though a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: Definitely go for a sea view

We had fully enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The beach owned by the hotel was a fully relaxing area in our stay. Every morning we were given a big welcome with smiles and called in our names even personally. This is amazing when you are just ordinary guest among so many...

On our last day we were also allowed to stay late in the afternoon until taxi picked us up. We really appreciate this extra stay especially for our little kids.

Thank you all to the hotel. We surely would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to travel to Mykonos.

ps. we stayed there in Oct.2010. But the drop-down list as review option could only go back to 2012. This is a "bug" :-)

What can I say? Well let me start with the obvious, the views! Having a young baby does mean retiring early and this simply wasn't a problem because the views are so fantastic. By the same token during the day having a young baby wasn't a issue as the staff were more than happy to help, sometimes wandering off cuddling our daughter! The reception staff were baby mad as well! so all in all everyone made us very welcome. This was something we were very concerned about but it worked out so good that we want to go back. We had considered booking the usual kiddy hotels so that we slotted in but just couldn't face it, this was the solution and by god it worked!
The only downside is the pound being so weak making food and drink in the hotel very expensive ie €15 for a club sandwich at lunchtime and cocktails around the same sort of price. The food and drink is good though, although I suppose it should be! :)
However there is good food literally everywhere so you can save on the hotel prices as necessary

As I say we would like to go back soooonn!!!

We wanted to go complete luxury for our Greek trip and that is what we got. From the moment we arrived from the airport and we were given our glass of sparkling wine we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. The view, service and location are top notch. I highly recommend!!

Room Tip: I recommend a sea view room. The view is amazing!

Have just returned from a stay at the Mykonos Grand and overall it is definitely the best hotel I have stayed in. Other hotels have beat it for its beach for example but for pretty much everything else you want from a holiday the MG comes out on top.

The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were all absolutely lovely, so friendly and wanted to everything for you. Our welcome was great, the pool service, and service at breakfast, lunch and dinner. All flawless. Special mention goes to Fontini, Andreas, Effy, Suzy, Eleni, Christos & George. The service combined with the little touches of the hotel make it a lovely place to be. Champagne included at breakfast, little gifts in the room at night (including mini salt and pepper shakers), cold flannels, mini icecream and sunglass cleaning round the pool. Theo, the manager, gave us our tour of the hotel when we got there and was always around and talking to us throughout our stay. He always seemed to be helping out the staff and getting on great with them. Everyone seemed happy to be working there which is always nice to see and to be around.

The pool area is lovely, and set out to be luxurious with the sunbeds and double sunbeds. All you can see is sea and mountains from your sunbed and looking out onto the sea as the sun hits it is lovely and relaxing. The pool itself is nice and immaculately clean. There’s also a Jacuzzi which is heated which was nice. As mentioned above, the staff were always happy to bring drinks or food to your at your sunbed but eating in the pool bar was also nice too for some shade. There is a small beach which looks nice enough and saw you got the same service but I’m a pool person so preferred to stay there! The sea is lovely and turquoise.

We stayed in a standard garden view room and it was nice enough, clean and we had a nice terrace. I think on going back I would stay in a superior room or at least a sea view room as seemed a shame to miss seeing the amazing view from our room. Having seen photos of the other rooms they look like they are a lot more luxurious so probably worth paying the extra. But cannot complain about the room really at all. (The only thing is there was no full length mirror which I found annoying when getting ready but that is my only a tiny thing!)

Food and drink wise; breakfast was good, plenty of choice. We also ate lunch at the pool bar every day which was always nice. We ate dinner at the hotel twice which was enjoyable both nights. The dining room is candle lit and open along the side so feels bit like you are outside so is a lovely setting. The bar in lobby is modern and really nice- Andreas makes amazing cocktails and always wants to make you something for your taste. We ate out 3 nights in Mykonos town, twice at places recommended by Theo (the manager) and both were good, one night we made our own choice and it wasn’t so good so take recommendations! The hotel run a shuttle bus into the town which is really good, taxis are 8 euros. It is worth echoing what others have said that the food and drink at the hotel is not cheap, but having eaten out – there is not a massive difference in the prices. I would also say that you get what you pay for and never felt like we were ripped off at the hotel.

Overall, I would recommend the Mykonos Grand to anyone for a relaxing, luxurious break and definitely want to return!

The first thing to say about this resort is that if you are on a budget you must look elsewhere, however, if you want some luxury on your visit to Mykonos then this is the place for you.

The staff were top notch and very attentive and friendly towards all the guests and what was very interesting was that there were many different nationalities staying there when we were there.

Yes it is a bit pricey but that didn't detract from the great time we had there.

Top notch hotel.

If you want superb ocean view location, complete privacy, excellent food, superb service (thank you, Roberta, Suzy, Fotina), large bright rooms and a private pool, this is the place for you. Don't think about value; either you can afford it or not. This s THE place to come to after a twenty-hour flight and directly to the spa for jet lag massage treatment. Take the boat excursion to Demos. Have lunch at La Cass in town (see review). Do nothing.
