“Mykonos not just Grand - but Great Hotel !”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Fantastic vacation ! and Exceptional service !
The hotel staff was super kind, always looking to help, and how to make your stay at the best. From the very first minute you arrive you get a personal welcome and guide you through the hotel facilities. The room had an extra confortable bed that makes you feel like a king, with a fantatic view of the aegean sea. The room terrace let you feel the peacefull sea in the mornings, and the magical moonlights. Just like a postcard, Wonderfull !
The breakfast restaurant, offers you with a great variety of dishes, hot & cold, fruits, and drinks as well. We were amazed how the restaurant waitress always remember our taste, and before we could asked for it, she served us every morning with coffee and food the way we like it.
Next to the hotel beach, you find some great restaurant, where you can reserve a table by the sea front, just over the beach, and enjoy typical greek food.
I am short in words to describe all the goodies of this great hotel !
Nevertheless, our only complains, it was the water-salt pool, when you expect a regular pool..... and the many many stairs down (and up) to the beach without elevator....

Room Tip: Take the sea view rooms with a large terrace !

My husband and I recently spent three days at the Mykonos Grand. The rooms are amazing ! The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The GM takes a very hands on approach to the facility- one nighr he bussed our tables, took our dinner order, drove our shuttle to and from our dinner off site, the guy does everything and the pride they take, shows.

Bedrooms were very clean with an amazing view of the ocean, beds were sooo comfortable.

Spa was fantastic, very simple set up but the services were above par!

We had dinner and brunch on site, again great food and wonderful service.

Would stay at this hotel every time we return to Mykonos.. Look no further!

We were so thrilled at having spent our 25th anniversary at this beautiful resort! After having our ferry canceled due to high winds (we were traveling from Santorini), we were able to book a flight that got us to Mykonos and what luxury awaited us! The entire staff seem to go out of their way to make sure all of your needs are being met, your stay is wonderful or just a smile and a hello...let me take your picture!
We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of sparkling wine and a full overview of the resort and its amenities. We were given a detailed map of Mykonos town and were given some recommendations of different restaurants to try based on our taste buds.
Our room was beautiful, overlooking the sea and the sunset. We had baklava and the Mykonos liqueur waiting for us as we walked in (can't remember the name of the sweet liqueur but it is made from a local tree if I recall correctly). The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillow were like sinking into down heaven! The bathroom was very large and the toiletries were very nice.
The hotel leaves little gifts on the bed at night and they made great souvenirs-esp the coffee cups that remind me of this lovely resort in the morning when I'm drinking my tea.
The hotel offers a shuttle service into town and since we are not the party animal type. we took full advantage of it (it runs from 7-11 pm) so perfect for not having to navigate the bus system though we heard it was very easy to do so.
The breakfasts were wonderful, with a little different fare every morning. All of the wait staff were extremely friendly and were eager to share some of the Greek delights with the guests by offering different recommendations.
We had a seaside couple's massage on our 25th anniversary and we have to say it was probably the best we ever had (thank you Magda and partner-sorry-forgot his name!). Our hour of bliss ended with fresh fruit juice and a fresh fruit platter and the sun slowly started to set.

Words cannot describe all of the accolades of this magnificent hotel and we look forward to returning again someday!

One of the most amazing hotels I have every stayed at! (and I have stayed in many!) Everything was spotless, the resort was beautiful and it was fun just walking around the property and exploring every nook and cranny. The staff was the biggest standout at this place, they were all very warm and welcoming and are willing to help you at any time. I was very sea sick from travelling around the islands and one of the hotel staff was kind enough to get me some medication and bring it to my room without me even asking for it! We had gone through a travel agency and they must have told the hotel that my partner and I were on our honeymoon (which we were not!) and upgraded us to one of the superior rooms! (How lucky!) The suite was absolutely amazing, so spacious and the bed was so comfortable it felt like home. You can really tell that the property has been built with high quality material which just adds to the entire experience of the place. Pure luxury! We went at the end of high season so there was plenty of space by the pools and the resort was very quiet but in a relaxing way. The breakfast was so delicious we didnt even need to eat lunch when we were staying there because we ate so much during breakfast! If I was to be honest the room service food was average, but who cares when everything else was so perfect. It made the food fantastic, and this is by no means a reason not to stay here. All in all I would recommend this place to everyone! And if I were to ever return to Mykonos I would not hesitate to book this place again! Love love love.

Room Tip: We stayed in a superior room out of luck, it was amazing but I'm sure all the other rooms would...

We recently spent 4 nights at the Mykonos Grand. We booked the Sea View suite and loved it. The view was amazing.

We arrived at the airport and were greeted by Yiannis who drove us along with a few other guests to the hotel. Once we arrived, Roberta greeted us and brought us some sparkling wine while we went over the check-in formalities and an overview of the resort. Roberta is fantastic and provided excellent restaurant recommendations to us.

The suite was modern and clean. A few things I appreciated: the "technology kit" in the desk that provided an iPhone charging cable. We brought ours, but it's nice that they have those. Also, there was a iPhone dock/speaker, excellent L'Occitaine soap/shampoo, and small gifts left for us each evening (definitely loved the goggles).

Breakfast was included, and we found the selection of food and the quality of the food to be very good. We also had lunch on the beach (very good), but did not have dinner in the hotel as we chose instead to head into Mykonos Town each night (the hotel provides shuttle service, and there is also a city bus which is convenient).

We would definitely stay here again. Great views, beach access, very nice rooms, and a staff that really goes out of their way to make you comfortable. In addition to Roberta, both Suzy and Carla were very helpful during our visit.

Book it...you'll be glad you did.

We spent 5 days in Mykonos grand @ a seaview room. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a huge balcony with a great view. Service was beyond expectations and staff was very helpful; everything we asked for was made available in minutes. We loved the small gifts they left every evening at our room! Spa was satisfactory. Pool area was great and the beach was really reaxing. No water sports, though (even canoes). We did not dine at hotel's restaurant. Breakfast, however, was unsatisfactory; choices were very limited and in my opinion, was the only downside of our stay. Mykonos Grand is definitely expensive, but not over-priced!
