“Prefect Home Cooking”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

This is a big and very popular restaurant in Agios Prokopios. We did manage to find a table one evening and we're glad we did. I took the spit roasted lamb and my wife had a chicken dish. The lamb portion was absolutely huge and perfectly cooked, I (almost) couldn't quite finish it, my wife's chicken was also beautifully cooked and presented. Accompanied with 1/2 litre of house red and water (27€)

“Fantastic locally grown served food. Delicious!”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

All the food is freshly made each day using vegetables and produce from a farm just up the road. Everything we tried was outstanding, and we tried many many items. Each day they prepare specific items for the day and then a whole menu of additions. The best restaurant on Naxos.

“Great Taverna, recommend a visit when in Naxos”
Reviewed June 18, 2014 via mobile

We were suggested this and another restaurant by our hotel and we weren't disappointed (we preferred the look of this one) . The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Most of the sides are pre-prepared, as with most Greek tavernas, so you can see what you are ordering beforehand. We had grilled fresh fish (select your fish from the counter then ask for their best price. We saved €5 per kilo) and a lamb souvlaki which were both great and a fresh Greek salad, excellent as you would expect in Greece. The only gaff was we asked for grilled Veges rather than chips with both meals. Both meals arrived with chips but as soon as we advised of their error freshly grilled peppers and eggplant arrived free of charge. These Veges were amazing. We shared a bottle of house white for €9 which was great value and very drinkable. Will be dining there again tonight.

Check out the kitchen for the great home cooked recipes not on the menu. Varies daily. Great spit roasts for evening meals. Excellent value.
