To start with the positives, the German lady who owned the café was very friendly and nice to talk to. The breakfast we had tasted great; ingredients fresh and the orange juice was freshly squeezed - lovely! You also have the ability to customise your meal, and ask exactly what you would like!

For the negatives, it was extremely over priced! Though the breakfast was delightful, the price left a bitter taste in my mouth! The customised breakfast was a cool idea, however for example you pay for each individual item; a portion of eggs costs around 2 euro, tomatoes around 2 euro, toast around 2 euro - by the end of the dish, it is way too expensive

We had a green pizza: from the freezer with a few thin small slices courgette and 5 gram of spinach. This is no special dish for 7 eur
The club sandwich was dry, not tasty. Potato salad with anchovies so so. Anchovies was home made and good.
A bit less convenience and routine please.
the pizza was poor. Normally we comment, But you are not always in the mood.
For the rest, no special atmosphere

We stumbled across this cute little restaurant and the owner was lovely and not pushy at all and so we decided to stay for lunch. What a great move. My partner had the chicken burger which looked fresh and he said it was delicious, and I had the muesli...yum! Great price, such friendly staff and a little hidden gem.

Best cafe for breakfast and brunch. Best bar for a quiet drink after dinner to reflect upon the events of the day. This is where long-time Prokopios friends meet and where new friendships are born. Everybody is welcome here.

Established in the late 70s by Karin and Adonis, this is where German meets Greek cuisine. Heike is the name of my favorite sandwich named after the person who invented it years ago. Adonis is well known for omelets made from scratch. Choose one from the menu or create your own and he will cook it to perfection for you.

I first met Karin and Adonis in the summer of 1983, 30 years ago! Back then there were only a handful of tavernas in Prokopios. The Hideaway Cafe then and now is the place to get away from a busy life. This is where Karin and Adonis have tirelessly welcomed us tourists to Greek hospitality season after season for all these years. Stop by if you have a chance and make sure to have a swim at the nearby beach, one of the finest around.

This is the place that made me get an account here so that I can submit this review. This is quite a different 5 star cafe. The Hideaway Cafe deserves all the stars under the heavens.

We went for lunch and had a Greek salad and mixed platter. Service and food were great, in a relaxed hideaway too - not the cheapest around knocking it to 4 stars, but a good place if you want to kick back with no pressures.
