We were there by coincidence because our hotel was overbooked! But what a chance for us!!!! Everything was so nicely arranged, the rooms with a selection of pillows, the little good night attention in the room, scented candles everywhere and of course not to forget the wonderful breakfast à la six senses style...i loved it! The chef was behind the breakfast buffet preparing fresh loukoumades and it's a long time that i have seen a chef that lives for his job but i guess it's his passion!!! Bravo sou! I will be back!

Room Tip: The Jacuzzi one on the last floor!!!! Incredible view! A haven

My wife and I stayed two nights at Rocabella during our honeymoon last month. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until the moment we were dropped off at the dock for our ferry, we were absolutely blown away by our experience at Rocabella. We dearly wish we could have stayed longer. If you're debating where to stay in Mykonos, stop looking now and book a room at Rocabella.

When we arrived we were greeted with glasses of champagne--and a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite! The incredibly kind reception staff showed us around the resort and oriented us to the island. We were just settling into our room as a fruit plate and chilled bottle of champagne were delivered to the room complimentary. That evening we dined at the delicious hotel restaurant (basically a private dining experience) with the very sweet Flora as our waitress.

The next day we experienced the most amazing hotel breakfast/buffet we have ever seen. The selection of unique/gourmet foods was endless. After the meal, we settled into one of the pool-side beds/loungers. Chilled water was delivered and refilled throughout the day, as were chilled washcloths soaked with jasmine. Delicious snacks were out in the reception area throughout the day. We bought a tasty light lunch from the pool bar, but between breakfast and the snacks available at the hotel there was hardly a need.

Kristos drove us into town for the evening and returned us to the hotel at no charge (no need to wait in the loooong taxi line in town!). When we returned at night, chilled dessert wine was waiting in our room surrounded by candles. On the bed were two granola bars. The next day was more of the same--wonderful breakfast, amazing poolside experience, and a friendly checkout and ride to the dock.

The only downside to Rocabella that we can imagine is that it's about a 10 min drive to town, so if you want to stay in the middle of the action it might not be for you. Taxis are hard to come by and though the free hotel shuttle is awesome, it does end at midnight which is not nearly late enough for the Mykonos bar scene. The view from the hotel is amazing, but it is obscured slightly by power lines.

That said, the hotel is beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff are incredibly friendly, the restaurant is one of the best we experienced in Greece, and the service is absolutely amazing. Our experience at Rocabella exceeded our expectations so much that we were continually disappointed at each of our next hotels--many of which were more expensive. We have never received such amazing treatment at any other hotel on any previous vacation. If we didn't live 1/3 of the way around the world from Rocabella we'd be planning our next trip there now.

This hotel goes above and beyond in everything that they do for their guests. They are attentive to every small detail and make you feel like royalty. It starts from the second you enter their doors they greet you with sparkling wine. They leave treats for you every night and they do a nightly service of burning aromatherapy oils in your room. The breakfast spread is really amazing and vast. Everything about this place was incredible and I would recommend it to anyone! The location was removed from the hustle bustle of town, but the hourly shuttle service the hotel provided meant you could explore and do activities in town while relaxing when you want to as well.

Everything was perfect, we absolutely loved it. The most outstanding thing of all was the staff - they were really lovely - all of them.

(One tiny tiny thing - it would be good if the return transfers from the town ran a little later than 12.15am but really not a huge deal)

Can't wait to come back one day - the sooner the better.

This was our 3rd trip to Mykonos and our 2nd to the Rocabella which we have fallen in love with. Of course we knew we would be given a warm welcome here but weren't quite prepared for the very touching feeling that we both had of coming home and being welcomed, almost like family. It's not the luxurious rooms with the extra touches that make this place so magical, it's not the delicious, never ending breakfast with lots of special treats or the unbelievable view and sunsets, or the stunning Mykonian architecture, or even the pool with it's excellent & attentive service that makes this place so special - it's the young team of people who front this small delicious hotel that make it such an exceptional experience. We thank you once again x.
