Well worth the 15-20 minute steepish climb up a surfaced pathway with some flights of steps and hand railing to the lighthouse. Not advisable though for anyone with mobility or breathing issues.

Although we’ve been here before we love the fantastic views you get from the top. You can get a funicular railway nearly to the top then a bit of a walk to the top. There are also some other view points from the cliff paths.
Be careful whilst walking as I came across a puff adder that was lying in the sun on the wall on one of the paths.

Beautiful place to visit. A bit expensive for couple of hours but what can you do. If you are comming to this part of South Africa you must visit Capes.

Stunning views if very touristy. I arrived at the same time as 4 coaches and they mobbed the restaurant making it impossible to visit there. However, the take-away had a good selection of snacks and drinks. The funicular was popular (360 Rand each), but I walked - only a moderate climb and anyone who's even reasonably fit would manage it comfortably. There's plenty of parking, even if you might need to walk a little bit to get to the site.
